I think my first 5 minutes will be at staring the "server full" notice.

I think my first 5 minutes will be at staring the "server full" notice.

Beyond the general server screw ups, buy RDM Ironworks weapon+upgrade it followed by unlocking RDM and going solo into POTD to do my lvl 60 hotbars.
Unlock SAM and then go into PoTD and fix my hotbar along the way. Plan is to hit 60 on the day of Early Access.
Fix my hotbars and cry over all the skills I lost.
Most likely rush the story and try to reach cap as fast as I can (as a warrior, so dungeons will be insta queues as always).
I will grab my Monk Jobquest and after that jump right into the MSQ.
Dungeons will go fast enough since I have friends and FC people to do them with:)
Might aswell check the MB for the newest glamour gear that will come with 4.0;)
Check my ping.

After battling through ques and any other possible issues I will go straight to unlocking Red Mage and Samurai and begin workin on getting my RDM leveled to 60 so I can run the MSQ as my new main.
wait in queue.
Already ahead of the curve. Sorry.

I'll probably still be reading the patch notes, at work. :(
if the timer starts apon actually being in-game (menu, movable avi & all that) then my 1st 5 mins will be Fix'n PLD's cross-hotbars while reading new/re-made moves, & maybe smashing the FC house dummy if I finish before 5 mins
I'll probably do the same thing I do for the first five minutes every time I log in... check my retainers. I can't afford a new house in Shirogane without selling things, after all.
Unlock RDM
Then fix my hotbars
Already have my FC event planned. Got the Level 3 Buffs ready. Fates Party Planned and of course. Water Social Event to swim!
Oh... and cant wait to kill everyone in frontline..

I'm going to write a stormblood guide that's nothing but speculation based on the first 5 minutes...in 5 minutes.
Probably organizing the new HUD. ASSUMING I'd spend less than 5 minutes on that, I'd then EXCITEDLY HEAD OVER TO ALA MHIGO
THe first 5 minutes I am online will be playing through the 4.0 Storyline.
I'm saving RDM and SAM for after 4.0 MSQ then follow up by the other Jobs level to 70 for their Job Storyline.
Machinist for life! Unless they release a Gunblade DPS Job in the future expansion.
Ideally, I will be working my way through the new MSQ.
Realistically, I will probably be waiting in a queue to get on the server.
Test out all my new PLD moves on a training dummy.
Get bumped out of the server due to server stability. Then go make a sandwich.
Besides probably having to wait an extra 2 hours for the server to actually go live. Then the queue times after that, I will probably log in to find myself near the MSQ for 4.0 and get right into it. As soon as it has me start to fight something (I'm assuming this will be after 5 minutes), I will adjust hotbars and look into abilities.
The first thing I want to do is take a stroll through Shirogane and see what the new plots are like, but since Doma areas likely won't be accessible until completing parts of the MSQ, I'll be doing MSQ ASAP.
Fixing my main's ui is first priority.
Next priority is finding red mage.
Then finally I'll be heading towards the MSQ.
Be mad at myself for not listening to myself when I told my dumbass self to "Go ahead and farm scripture so you wont have to worry about it when the expansion launches."
Fixing my hotbar since skills are going to moved around.
aside from 90ks and other expansion related issues, fixing my hotbars and ui.
Fix my hotbar, then head to try to buy a house. xP
By the time it is live, I'll be at work and will miss most of the beginning lag issues.
unlock samurai, glamour outfit, get to work on leveling
Fix hotbars
I actually really enjoy the anticipation of knowing something new is coming. I really also enjoy checking out small changes, not just the big obvious ones like new jobs and zones. So within the first 5 minutes, Ima prolly take my time and check out any little changes like the maps, then hook up with my FC and LS buddies and try to travel all together and explore as we go.
Look at new hairstyles, fix healer hotbars, and check market board for glamor goals.
