Alternative solution to glamour log

Uh, are you suggesting that "better interviewers" should use their time with Yoshi not to dig information for their readers, but to give suggestions? I hope I'm reading it wrong, because that's not what interviews are for.

Let's take a chill pill and calm down for a moment. Some of you are getting a tad over aggressive while a few others are going overboard with the white knighting.

With that said, I wonder if it's possible to modify the crafting log into a glamour log. There's a full working UI over there already; partial search-supported textbox, multi-tier categories (via job and gear parts), also, more importantly, there's a check for the completion of first craft. Maybe they can set it up so that a player can go to a specific NPC/object to "register the item into the glamour log" as opposed to "first craft completed", then spirit bind the item at the end of the process? After that just let the players glamour directly from the log instead of individual items and run the logic check upon glamouring. I have no idea if there's any back-end difference between the armoire and crafting log system, but I believe there's much more expansion upon the crafting log instead so far. Just a Lalafell for thought, what do you guys think?

Did he say why they wouldn't do a glamour log? I mean if they have a good idea for it I am all ears, but the current system is a horrendous mess that requires insane amount of inventory and becomes quickly disorganized.

as far as economy, make us bind an item to add it to glamour log, including whites. Problem solved.

I doubt too many people, if any, would be opposed to the addition.

Excuses aside, this is arguably one of the larger issues that has not been addressed, since the game has gone live. The longer the game goes on, and the more glamours are added (in game, promotion or cash shop), the problem is only going to get worse. I'd be amazed if even a partial solution isn't attempted sometime in the near future. Perhaps the increase in the inventory is the first test step, especially since they are dropping PS3 support. I'm hoping to see more substantial improvements with future updates.

To some people in this thread:

Yoshi didn't say they couldn't do it. They said it was very low on their priority list.

Hence why the very next day if not the same day a thread was made about wanting it higher on the priority list.
