Went and talked to the representative Samuel from Amazon and he said I had to wait until April 27th to receive my codes, so I asked him to speak his manager, representative Pavan the manager of chat support who said they didn't have the promotion codes to even give out. When I said to him others have already received their codes he said he couldn't offer anything further on the matter and refused to give me my codes that I knew he had.
I heard Amazon has good customer support, but from this it seems it is untrue. While other chat support representatives just hand out their codes upon request I get to waste my time arguing with people who don't seem to give a hoot.
That link is inside the link Sitches.. linked (invasion of Link!) lol.
"Make a qualifying purchase of $19.99 or more on video games (purchase or pre-order)" from here: https://www.amazon.com/computer-vide.../b?node=468642
"Items that qualify for the promotion will have a note on the store listing. "

Could someone link me the Amazon page with the game time card? The one I went to says they are sold out. So either I am at the wrong page or they really are sold out. Which kind of boggles the mind. o0
Link Digital card.
EDIT: Shows unavailable now.
I pretty much got the same thing only I didn't demand to speak to a manager. I figured I'd just wait the 48 hours and if I don't get a code, then I'll go after them or wait a bit here and contact them again for a code. Either way, I find it stupid that I'm having to wait 48 hours on codes that they clearly already took my money for the item and I have the product which can't even be refunded sooooo... (bought the 60 day time card).
It should be noted that if you do not receive your codes immediately after ordering and a rep does not supply you with the codes, your character will permanently die from the extreme pressure of having to wait a couple days. Joking aside, I understand how annoying it can be when the customer support has given out codes to some people, but suddenly you're the one that has to wait. Last time, I was in that situation and pestered support a few times and eventually got it, only to have the official mail with the code in it the next day. I felt kind of silly afterwards, but the mind can be a persistent beast when it feels it needs something.

Hey guys, I did a video on my channel about the Amazon.com promo to help answer some questions about it.
Hopefully it will help someone out.
I just pre-ordered FF12 Zodiac Age on Amazon and received the redemption code immediately.
I'm not so much in a hurry as more that SE can't get all this right. Good to see they finally fixed the whole pre-order ordeal unlike last time when they did this with the maid outfits and people just cancel their pre-order and got a free code. However, when you buy something that you get right away (like the time card) and it something that can't even be refunded, there no reason to make those people wait for their codes. No biggy though, I'll wait out the 48 hours. Not in a hurry, and if I don't get it by that time I'll be raising hell with amazon.
I bought a $20 PSN card.
Amazon cancelled my transaction and I still got the codes.
I did the same thing with a second amazon account. I got 2 set of codes now for $20.
Anyone know if a Steam card works?
after a friendly chat with their customer support I got my code :)
just buy a time card for ffxiv, it's time you gonna invest in ffxiv again
So, buying 60 day works or not? It doesn't say special offers like the rest of the games.
Digital time card (60 days) worked for me. However, if you're buying a physical item, you have to wait until it ships...then you can return it lol.
I'm having a weird issue. I got the email for my DLC codes, but the areas where the codes should be are totally blank. So they're like "here are your codes!" and there's just nothing. Anyone else having this problem?
I try this (3rd time now) and area where codes should be are stay totally blank.

Apparently they ran out of time cards to purchase on Amazon. I didn't really want anything else on Amazon so ill have to wait till they add more before I resub. Do they frequently add more time cards to Amazon or run out often?
I had to contact their live support to get the code and it worked.
FYI, I just made my purchase of a physical item and received the code email about 3 seconds after confirming the order, so it appears they had the same issue as last year where the system either wasn't working or hadn't been setup yet to automatically dole out the codes and those that rushed in to immediately take part in the promo get to wait it out a bit longer.
Just make sure it's both sold by amazon and fulfilled by amazon. I wasn't paying attention initially and ordered it when a 3rd party seller was selected. I had to cancel and then re-purchase with amazon as the seller.
Chatted with Amazon rep. they said $20 for Steam didn't work even though it meets all the qualifications lmao (19.99+ and from their video game department).
You probably missed this part then: "Items that qualify for the promotion will have a note on the store listing."
Not every item that's $19.99+ and in that department is part of the promo. Here's the link again: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...120b58004694f1
-Customers who pre-order digital or physical video games will receive their redemption codes once the game is live or ships.
-The Amazon promotional codes will no longer be redeemable after December 31, 2017.
-These item codes do not expire. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Square Enix reserves the right to establish an expiration date for these item codes by providing advance notice via appropriate channels.
im very confused by these 3 notes lol. can anyone clear them up?
