Why do Archers suck so bad against Ifrit?

Do people realize that MRD can avoid sear damage as well? Its a much smaller window, but it is possible.

So lets stop listing sear as the main reason LNC is preferred.

pugilist has less range than mrd as well, still it does have decent mp and shortest cooldown on second wind and highest heal, i wonder if pug should just take the hit and heal up

I think as long as they can be self reliant it shouldn't be an issue.

are you talking about moving in and out? or do they actually have the range to stay out of it? if they have the range then it makes me mucho happy

Currently I use PGL and ARC. Starting to feel like I should level CUL just to have the full set...

MRDs can max-range autoattack and avoid Sear, but the margin for error is much smaller.

I used multishot and foeseeker against Iffrit, not so bad. I stand on the circle of fire, near the rock mages are on, and just throw multishots at him.
(I move in to the rock with the mage for some plume move of iffrit -- but I'm avoiding more eruption that way because of animation lock for every shot of archer, good trade off)
