Full relese of 3.1 hair style

It just me, or does that lala remind you of Rubedo from Xenosaga?

now i have to wonder how the Afro will look on au'ra and miqo'te.

Hate all the male hairstyles.

Man... all these styles look so dull. The only decent one is male exclusive, too. Ah well. I'll just keep this style I've been using since... like... the beginning of the game.

Yeah, short hair again. Males have ONE long style with an ugly headband, and two medium-longish styles, all of which are about a year old. That stubby ponytail is cute, but it's not really 'long'. Long would be like the ponytail females got at Heavensward's opening (which I'd love to use), for which the male equivalent was the short, spiky ponytail.

I can't say whether you're in the minority, but I hate all of these styles (and not just because they're short), and obviously some others agree with me.

Hey now. The short hair we're getting now actually looks decent this time around. Especially on Roegadyn (the other short hairstyles did not look good on my Roe at all), the minority race of this game :)

The first one would be okay if it wasn't bald on top...And in fact, I think Au Ra males have a style very like that second? It's one of several I really wish would be unlocked for other races - Au Ra males actually have some nice long styles the rest of us don't.

The female contest winner is so awful. I'd like to be able to wear the male one on my female char. But oh well. We can't have everything we want. At least for once we get more than 1 new hairstyle.

I had the exact opposite reaction to the new hairstyles. I thought "Finally, some decent short hairstyles!". A brief google search found this picture for Elezen men.

None of those would be considered short hair, at least where I live. More hairstyles have been added since this picture put together, but (at least offhand) I can only think of one that I would consider short if I were wearing it in real life. I feel like most hairstyles available are shaggy, at best. I appreciate seeing a few more trim options.

The one thing that annoys me is the fact that the male contest haircut will also be available to women.

It's just simple principle, the male side of the contest should remain male only otherwise it's completely unfair

(For those who wonders where I get this from, krile dons the haircut in the trailer and she's definitely a woman)

She does not have that hairstyle, a simple glance at her would make that clear. Hers is unique to her

The wave under the eyes is the exact same, it looks different because it's not as elongated on her due to her size but I'm fairly confident that it's the same or at least heavily based on it

Edit, my bad I had forgotten about the little bangs on the left side, they just look really similar

That's pure speculation on your part - I'm assuming trying to create some kind of drama in the thread.

The male hair is not at all the same as the lala, for one. For two, the lala is an NPC, not a player character. For three, how do you even know the lala is a female? Half the time, I can't tell the difference.

I love the hair..especially the wavy one with no bangs :D But we are getting Icehearts hair too so...I'll be full timing that forever haha.

I wonder if we will get the runner up hairstyles in 3.2? :)

Second many npc have player haircut, moenbrida for instance amongst the most recent one, the whole scions cast for the oldest ones
Third krile is a woman because she's a woman, period, and also because of her voice in all languages, not to mention her eyelashes and eye shape, if you can't tell the difference it's a shame but if you take the time to look male and female have distinct differences.

And thanks averax I already have noticed with the previous screenshot shared but this makes it even more obvious, starting to wonder how I even made that mistake in the first place :X

That afro is ridiculous

I don't see why they don't just let males and females have both hairstyles. It never bothered me in Skyrim having the option for "female" hairstyles on a male character. Similarly, having "male" hairstyles on a female character didn't hurt anything either. It's not going to break my immersion to see a guy with ribbons in his hair or a lady with a receding hair line and a widow's peak.

I was hoping there would be a some sort of messy pony tail for a male hairstyle. Oh well.

I played alot of games with afro and none ever looked good.
afro are hard to make due to the texure of them, and how some hair is solid mesh (like ff14s is solid mesh layers rendered in 3d making hair look chunky) Pretty much if u look closely they used the same texture of the sheep/sheep hat and made it in a full hair. If you look at the look and just put a sheep head tail and legs it pretty much look like the sheep around coerthas

ad krile is a women minfilia mentions krile a few times and stated "she" with her. Also........ umm................. that voice if a females. Just saying.

ps......... I WANT KRILES OUTFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT FREAKIN ARORABLE.

I really like the male one shown on the Lala! Guess that isn't unisex.

That's not Iceheart's hair. That's available currently at least for male Elezen. Has a leather headband.

I thought the disco aesthetic is what they were going for with it, so it's not weird when everyone has it because Afros were popular in the time of disco.

Clipping isn't some game-breaking thing, never has been and never will. Once we can get over this hysteria over clipping then, and only then, will we ever have truly long hair like Ysayle's.

Lalafel has the best hair in the game. When you use lalafel as the model they know exactly how to make great hair. Even Momodi's is really cute. Wish I could choose all the lalafel hair options...

You mean this style below? It's not quite the same model, if you compare it to the above. The male style curls outwards and has bits hanging in front of the eyes, whereas the new female style curls inwards and doesn't cover the face. The highlight placement and hairline are also different.

Loving the long hairstyles for the females, I do hope they release 70s clothes style so I can wear that with the afro.
