k I have not entered savage yet do to scheduling but friends have, I am WAR with around 900 STR when in raid(bonus) the initial DPS on the first bot by WAR can make or break this raid. Burst damage after storm's eye is applied and a regular str potion is 2x Fell Cleave (CRIT over 6.6k) 2 full BB combos , have pacification removed and continue till .05 is out. Tanking .05 as a warrior you can pull around 600dps if keeping maim/eye up and using unchained for the first move in defiance. That is alot of extra damage with 4 other DPS a SCH throwing DOTS and the PLD doing perhaps 350.. we could be seeing 5.5k dps for the fight here with this setup (war pld monk/drg ... bard ... caster... ninja ....... SCH/WHM. I don't know enough about DRK to say anything just showing the possible massive damage (don't forget food and potions during bursts)
WARx2 is the ideal tank set up for A1S by a long shot.
Eye and path on both bosses. IB+Veng+Thrill on every tank buster. Equilibrium after the hit.
