[2.0][3.0] New furnishings have been added.
Still only 100 slots in small homes =x
I do wonder what this could possibly be in reference to...Quote:

What I see from LB name is, SCH looks more angelic-ish skill than WHM.
Augmented AF still can't stored into Armoire, k...
im glad i dont craft otherwise the whole retainer stuff wouldve pissed me off since inventory space will be loaded even more
Could be playing games but instead I did this for kicks. PLD skills listed at the same levels they're learned as DRK.
Could have a lot of mistakes in this but so far DRK has 6 ??? skills with 4 of them being completely unknown, 2 with no names. There's 2 ? skills, 1 being a guess of mine, 1 being unknown level of mitigation. If you consider that sentinel (40% mitigation) is the equivalent of vengeance (30% mitigation) and also consider shadow wall's 30% to be the same level, shadow wall and vengeance is learned at 46 while sentinel is learned at 38. Also Scourge at lvl 6 seems to be the Fracture equivalent.
I'm am saddened that they still haven't done anything about "wait" as default on controllers.
Best news for me here is that they've adjusted the Zodiac Weapons.
As expected, they decreased the tedious grind in order to hasten the process. I guess the grind's only purpose is to increase playtime and get people busy until 3.0 is ready.
Also, Poetics is gonna be the new Soldiery, which will now be phased out like Mythology. I do not quite understand the purpose of this. Why add more tomestones then remove the old ones?
no mention of grand company ranks increased?? kinda disappointed in that unless i missed it lol
The 3 new sets (Dragon/Griffin/Behemoth) shown during the Live Letter are likely to be the new Rank 50 sets. They never stated the 3 sets were for the new classes, people assumed that they were when they were show during the PvP section right after the new class section.
*Liking the streamlining of Relic/Zodiac quests. Closing in on Nexus for Yoshimitsu at the moment and will resume work on Thyrus to see how much faster I can bulid it.
*Don't mind restricting map acquisition on FSH to an ability. It's a real buzzkill to forget about your map timer and hook a Leather Map while looking for fish.
*Teraflare for SMN. Teraflare for SMN!
*More Poetics is nice but I wonder if the Magitek weapons will still be worth buying, if only as starter weapons for Ishgard.
*Any action against RMT is a welcome one, and I'm certain legit players on the free trial can still be added to others' Friend List.
*Spell speed would be worth something AFTER I changed my stats on the Apocalypse to Det./Crit. Hit Rate.
Yeah, I don't really see this as a problem. They meet new people, get invited to a FC, and make new friends. A legit player would just have to send a quick /tell asking the person to add to friendslist. The only real issue is if both players are on trial accounts. But c'est la vie.
For whatever it's worth...

Sorry if it's been mentioned, but did I read correctly zither new tomestones can't be collected until you reach level 60?
So far, sounds nice...
i really welcome the trade in of all that old stuff, inventory will be so empty i already rejoice ^^
what i miss are the "xy locked behind housing, 2nd class players, blah blah" threads...
after verification, for the european price: the 6 retainer will be 10.80 euro (1.80 euro x6), for the low cost account it's 10.80 per month... for make simple, someone that want the 6 additional retainer it will double him fee.... 21.60 euro per month.... kinda bad. the fact we pay a sub fee is for avoid this sort of cash grab... no sub mmorpg did survive passed the 15 euro per month.
we can argue that it's optional and such, the trouble is to allows this sort of service to come in a sub game. i will not enter into the debat that it can be considered like pay 2 win (what it can be if you count that the 6 additional retainer offer 120 slot for sell stuff what will give you a clear advantage over the auction house, but it's not my style then don't concern me much)
outside this most of the patch note seems nice, but this point really need to be adressed, because nothing explain that we can double our sub fee per month, because of an optional systeme!
they are already saying our stuff takes up so much data; so you pay for it, so that not everyone will have several times more inventory space, and cause even more data problem. It's like paying extra, for exceeding luggage limit, when traveling.
ofc ppl with max retainers, have an advantage, and they pay for it, you don't.
Either pay an extra pizza/month, or don't :)
Looks good so far, but I have concerns about the following:
[2.0] In accordance with the raise in level cap, the following job actions and parameters have been adjusted.
Several skills have been mentioned here, notably Shield Swipe, Shield Oath and a whole host of my precious White Mage spells. Some of these are obvious, such as Protect which we know to be extending its Magic Defense to all classes. But some of these are considerably less obvious, like Stoneskin, Presence of Mind, Holy and Shield Oath.
Given that these skills are being 'adjusted' to suit level 60 caps, I worry that they might be nerfed which will make non-HW players more than a little upset. I really hope that isn't the case here, and that the adjustments are merely a result of 'additional effects' which tie into later skills. But, this is Squeenix... nerfs are commonplace with big updates and it wouldn't be the first time they butchered some of my favourite skills for the sake of it.
Interestingly, it seems they're also nerfing Limit Break uses for base classes. Only jobs will be able to use the LB3, so no more Arcanist nukes or Lancer melee at high levels.
Okay, I found a deal breaker. This is something that really grinds my gears every time they release a new dungeon, but now I think it's gone a step too far.
Serious talk, Square-Enix. What the heck is wrong with your duty roulettes? Do you just hate new players, or do you just want to annoy them as much as possible? Yet again, you've added another three dungeons to the Hard Mode roulette. And, yet again, you'll have to have completed every dungeon in the roulette to access it? You made the change for Trials to allow you to run it with only 2, so why not extend that courtesy to Hard Mode roulettes?
Allow me to be frank, this is appalling. The new 'expert mode' dungeons are clearly Heavensward only, which is a slap in the face to current players who haven't purchased HW because they're still progressing. It's essentially a brick wall in their path, since from experience we know dungeons will give very little poetics tomes and roulettes tend to be the most reliable source of progression thanks to their bonuses.
I hated it the first time you pulled this stunt, and I hate it now. Moreso now because the Expert Roulette is entirely gated off to Heavensward customers only. What? You couldn't split the roulettes like you did the the other dungeons? Couldn't, or wouldn't? And yes, we know that the new roulette dungeons are Heavensward only because the only new dungeons listed are listed as [3.0] in other words, Heavensward expansion zones.
Look, I get it, you want to push the expansion. That's admirable. But whatever you do, don't alienate the players who don't have HW for one reason or another. The hard mode roulette is already looking a complete mess, and now you want to add to it? Let people access the roulette with 4 dungeons unlocked and I might just forgive this mean-spirited change.

I count 8 different flying mounts, excluding the personal choco, including 2 never before seen ones at the 9 second mark!
Shade Shift? Am I just tired or is that a mistranslation?Quote:

Ninja
Shade Shift
Aeolian Edge
Oh... OH... I swear SE, if you're nerfing my Perfect Dodge I will be furious... I love trolling Titan/Nael/etc. with Perfect Dodge...
Wait, this means Aeolian Edge is the only skill getting a directional requirement/bonus? Perhaps the new skill as well (and there is only one on GCD)? I'd laugh but I'm too worried about Perfect Dodge being made less perfect...
This makes me both happy and sad. That Critical Hit Rate buff makes me very happy, I was quite worried the Skill Speed change would negatively impact Ninja (boosts DoT damage, but increased TP consumption...). Determinations... Meh, sucks for Paladin more than anyone. Certain attributes? STR and DEX? For Paladin I'd hope just DEX, but that sucks, I was quite pleased with my Ninjas Parry rate. Quite enjoyed tanking with Keen Flurry, although I guess with the new skills I wont need to tank anymore (though if SE thinks I'll be using Smoke Screen and Shadewalker for their intended purpose...).Quote:
Skilspeed and spellspeed now affect damage over time and healing over time effects.
The effect of determination on auto-attacks has been reduced.
Critical hit rate now affects damage dealt with a critical strike.
Certain attributes no longer affect parry or block.
