I think I will play around with higher Ram frequencies to see if I get better performance as well.
Maybe the character rendering is system memory bandwidth limited and not the API at all.
Or maybe it just takes higher bandwidth to collect the character info and to feed the GPU that info.
(Your Ram @ 2666 Mhz is 65% faster than mine and you FPS is about the same. You normally don't have that sort of scaling with Ram unless there is a bottleneck)
