Trying to decide which better captures the sketch I had, from page 3 of this thread. Or, putting that aside, which looks better overall. First has way, way better scale patterns, second has stronger features and a pretty chill expression. Hairstyle is a placeholder -- final is gonna have the ponytail from the Gold Saucer.

If anyone cares to feedback, cool. Not sure I'm quite feeling it, altogether. But we shall see.

I don't think they can come anywhere near the cuteness of Miqo'te, but I will say the females are growing on me. Still wish they looked a bit more badass like the males :(

Managed to have a quick look before darting off to work and I am loving the Male Hairstyles! So spiky! :D

Personally, i would prefer the first one. facial expression is something that the Character Builder can't display properly, so many emotes as there are in the game.

Something I'm noticing about those ultra-angled eyes is that they make the irises seem a little off and unfocused. It's almost an uncanny-valley effect, but the shape itself is still really cool.

So far as your guy here goes, try giving him a roll through the benchmark video and see how the animations and such treat him. Can't lie, I am so, so jealous right now of those awesome scale patterns and color!

When Yugiri first showed up, I thought 'ew lizard people'. When au ra were officially revealed I thought 'ehh...they're okay I guess'

With each new clip of them, I was more and more interested, because I despise a lot of the midlander animations and voices and only chose that because my character was a hume in XI.

So here was my attempt at recreating Dijana as an au ra...not very happy that with both clans the colours arent very vibrant, but then thats maybe because I dont have sweetfx with the benchmark

The emotes are really cute and fluid. Im thinking I'll definitely at least switch to au ra for a bit, anything to escape the terrible princess run.

My Miqo'te from live, and an Au Ra, both are the tallest, have the biggest bust size. I really like the Aura but I don't know if I would want to be that short.

I'm not going to lie I'm actually thinking about switching to Au ra. I like the facial structure and male exclusive hairstyles of the male Au ra. The scales go well with the skin tone I generally use so I have no complaints about that. The only thing I have a problem with is the elezen default pose. It does not at all fit the actions the character takes, it looks so forced when animations finish.

Changed hair to the new pigtails and changed the eye color to white and the rings to black...looks much better lol
