Tried a couple of stores they say they have no information, on-line support don't have a clue either.

I find with GAME they only know in store when its also on-line, guess the systems are linked.

Yeah i live in Huddersfield so i have one in town and there is one in Wakefield so may try that one.

I really hope that the SE store ships to Portugal.

Always a gamble to see if the SE store decides they ship to here.

Why is it SE can never launch something without a hitch.

Is this going to be just like the ARR registration fiasco again ?, I dread to think what the launch of Heavensward will be like.

You can probably say Amazon and GAME will be one even though theirs are not up yet. I think the reason why Amazon and GAME don't have it yet because SE wants everyone to use their store first. Once they get everything under control the other retailers will start getting notifications from SE saying "oh so yeah you can accept pre-orders for Heavensward now." That's just my piece of cake anyway :P

I asked the stores that sold last Final Fantasy XIV A Real Reborn CE in Spain (Amazon, Game, Xtralife... etc) and all have normal editions but Collectors... I'm really worried.

Agreed, I live in the EU and when try to add the CE digital version to cart on the EU store for pre-ordering it wont add it to the cart. The site is down for maintenance though so I assume they are fixing it.

I'd agree with you if it wasn't for the fact it's up on amazon.com (standard edition only as far as I could see) and amazon.co.jp :(..

I know the LL mentioned in the powerpoint slides that the date and times would be different for other retailers though, so guess we'll wait and see.

It may just be the fact that they've not been informed yet, or because SE are offering preorders etc before any other retailers.

So why exactly are people freaking out over this? The product doesn't come out for another 3 MONTHS and THE PRODUCT IS MADE BY SQUARE ENIX.

Do you seriously think they're going to run out? They'll just make more as the collector's edition is their cash cow.

In the email you receive for being on the waiting list they state that the Collectors Editions are in limited supply - people want the CE (I know I do) and want to purchase it. Hence all the "freaking out"

Alternatively, I want to just pre-order my game and get it out the way with, that way I don't need to worry for another 3 months.

Any word on when Steam will be allowing pre-orders? SE have already stated that steam players will have to get the steam version as the physical PC version will be no good.
Nothing on steam so far.

For those refreshing the EU Square Enix site, I recommend the following plug in for Google Chrome browser: Easy Auto Refresh 3.1

You can set a refresh time on any site allowing you to create a window and make it a small one to view in the corner whilst at work or doing something else more fun :)

Saves breaking the F5 key haha.

Jokes on you, you can't refresh it. You'll always get the maintenance page @ http://maintenance.eu.square-enix.com/. Hence the message "To check if the website you wanted to visit is back online, please navigate to the site's original URL."
