Attempted the transaction for crysta using paypal and everything worked perfectly!

This makes me so happy! I do not own a credit card, nor a bank card with a credit logo. Buying game time and prepaid credit cards were my only option...and was a continued headache to the point I was about to give up. Thank you for the wonderful news!

So question. I stay on an Entry account because it's cheaper monthly and I don't plan on making more than one character for everything, for now anyways. Since Time Cards are the only reliable payment I have now, they will work for me right?
They just add a flat 60 days to an account, but I saw earlier that someone said that they wouldn't work with entry accounts. Shouldn't the Time Card just override everything? Regardless of what my account type is, it just just automatically add 60 days to my chosen character.

Anyone else having issues with paypal at the moment?
I just keep getting:

"Thank you for your purchase of Crysta.
Upon confirmation of your payment, Crysta will be added to your account.

* Please note that in some cases there may be a delay before Crysta is added to your account."

The paypal popup doesnt even appear, it just straight up sends me there after loading for ages and nothing's being added.

you can't user time cards for entry accounts, that is confirmed

Just out of curiosity, do you have some kind of pop-up blocker enabled? Because when I bought Crysta this way this morning, a new window using paypal pops up asking you to log in and what not. Its possible that window is being blocked for you.

Try using a different browser? and also perhaps clear cookies, etc.

Nope. The thing is, it worked just fine yesterday, but now it just doesn't show anything.

I would suggest clearing cookies/history then. It may be picking up the old transaction information.

update: after waiting a bit it finally works again, yay

Seems like we still need a card linked to Paypal to buy Crysta however, It won't just let me pay for it using my Paypal balance.

You can become verified and link a bank account. Does not have to be a credit card.
Also, did you double check that Paypal's website is using the right payment option. I know I have to change paypal evry transaction from using my bank account and use my credit card instead. Ive not tried directly from a paypal balance though.

I know what the issue is, for instant payments for most retailers paypal needs both a verified bank account and a verified credit card on file
once you have those it will let you use your balance for payments

paypal does this to all accounts. if you don't have both it wont let you do instant payments for most retailers, which is what is required for this.
if you have a bank issued visa or mastercard debit card you can use that. it is what I used for mine.

I try to buy some Crysta but when I enter my password to pay with Paypal, I get this message:

We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment.

For some browsers, this problem can be resolved by clearing or deleting cookies.

Has this happened to anybody?
I cleared my cache & cookies like some places told me to but it continues to happen, any help? :s

Chances are paypal may be undergoing a maintenance or an outage. Try again in an hour or so.
Also you could try a different browser entirely, if you haven't already tried it.

Ever since we got paypal as a payment method, I have had no problems whatsoever paying for anything on the cash shop or other services. I was finally able to get some dye, fantasia my character and buy my Yda minion. I am a happy customer <3

I'm having this problem now, deleted cookies, no popup blocker, three different web browsers, different computer, tried on phone, different internet company.
Still nothing, I select paypal, hit next and in about 5 seconds just jumps to the Thank you for purchase.
I should also say, if I select say mastercard it brings goes to the step of entering card number and everything. Though sadly error 401 stops me from ever using normal card on their site...
Anyone got anything that help?
