2.4 Release date predictions

They did a presentation on Oct. 14 saying that 2.4 will be released in October 2014. Not the same as announcing games that have several year development times that they don't know when they will be done. If they knew that 2.4 wasn't coming out in the next 15 days they wouldn't announce it at that event.

Its probably safe to say 2.4 will be the 21st or 28th. I'm betting the 21st even though I'd prefer the 28th. They're most likely going to give us a trailer for 2.4 in the next couple of days or the same day as fanfest, that's why they've started the previews. It doesn't really matter when they give us a trailer as long as its before the patch goes live. The info for 2.4 has all been pretty vague so there's probably some stuff they don't want us to know about yet.

Pssh Patch 2.4 has been done for a while and there just waiting, probably half way finished with 2.45.

It probably has been finalized for sometime considering on the 14th of November the GOTY edition releases with 2.4 on the disc, It takes a bit of time to set up disc production and distribution.

I find this strange on the time allotted to claim the gold dyes.
"Players will be eligible to obtain the pots of metallic gold dye by logging in to the game between the maintenance completion and Oct. 24, 2014 12:00 a.m. (PDT)"
Something happening on the 24th? Either another hotfix or patch 2.4.

Edit: Just notice the similarities, 24th>2.4

Don't you have to do a quest to be able to dye your gear though?

While I'd like to see the 21st and half expect it due to the info dump we've been getting this week just before Fan Fest and the Live Letter, a friend of mine reminded me that we still have no trailer and we usually get the patch a week after the trailer. However, they may have held off on the trailer so they can show it at Fan Fest. Who knows? :P

I thought the new dye's are untradable regardless?

I think he meant you could trade low lvl characters gear and then they could dye them and trade them back to you. But like I said earlier, you have to do a quest to be able to dye stuff.

Oh I see, I didn't even think of that lol

Edit: If I remember corrently the dye quest is like 15 or something. Glamour is level 50. I may be wrong though.

Dont think you can trade those dyes, the silver dye is marked untradable. Some ppl where selling the dyes by trading the armor you wanted dyed then dying it then trading it back.

Actually, they are probably working out the bugs on 2.5 and have started work on 2.55. Usually the next major patch is being worked on by the time the previous is being released. They have made mention of this a lot.

yeah indeed, we did plan to make everybody believe it was the 28th! and even the lodestone to... seriously.
they did mess up, even the moderator are trying to cover for it...sadly if you think logically, they already know when will be out the 2.4, they have tight planning this month with the fanfest and such... anyway, don't believe us, we will see sunday. ^^
