    2.4 Release date predictions

    October 21. Patch will be released during maintenance.

    Why? All the info they are releasing now to get us hyped up and they said preparations are nearly complete so given history next week we will see preliminary patch notes with the patch coming on oct 21.

    Considering how for previous patches they released the very first preview about a month before the patch actually hit, I wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed back to the first week of November, with the latest excuse being Fanfest and the new class. Still hoping that's not the case and it's still on track for October, but yeah.

    2.1 previews started 11/25, patch released 12/14, 19 days
    2.2 previews started 2/28, patch released 3/26, 26 days
    2.3 previews started 6/5, patch released 7/4, 30 days
    2.4 previews started 10/9...

    19 days puts us on October 28th, and gives a little over a week for the buzz to gather after fanfest reveals. 26 days puts us into November, they probably won't do that unless someone screws something major up and it isn't caught til the last minute.

So 10/19, all services (Transfer, fantasia, etc) stop for patch, we have 10/20 as downtime for the patch, and 10/21 we all become ninjas!

    The difference being of course that I've been saying the patch date will be Oct 21 since mid September

    Inb4 Tuesday.

    I'm expecting early November at the latest, possibly coinciding with the release of the Binding of Isaac Rebirth or Warlords of Draenor. Any earlier would be icing on the cake.
