not when we're on intense battle, furthermore as a tank, we need to careful on what action that we use. no lag on the brain helps the battle.

Well lag is only due to unsufficient pc components and/or net speed.
Im fortunate enough to have a more than standard pc to run xiv.
Im a Glad main. And I do just fine tanking intence battles, (aka. ogre).
My bars are full of enmity abilities, and im waiting for the recast timers more than anything.
The action bar problem I see is big, but I really hoping the shield skill sp issue is fixed in 1.18a. For conj/thm not as bad, for GLA brutally bad.
I think it just comes down to a companionship with your keyboard and/or mouse.
If you know how to manipulate it, you can do just fine.
Someone once told me you cant be a tank in this game unless you have "fast fingers".
I guess i have fast fingers then lol.
Besides theres a lot less you have to worry about now what we have auto attack.
Overall, the focus has been on controller users pretty much throughout the process, from what I can tell. Don't get me wrong, I like that they're fixing this for the controller users out there. I just wish they'd give us some sort of progress report on when they're going to throw us keyboard/mouse users a bone. . .
1. Remove the information of thr skill when an ability is highlighted. (or display only the name of the ability, whitout all the description).
2. Make the skill icon bigger when is highlighted. Improving visibility of you skill chooise.
3. An exlusive slot to toogle on or off the autoattack.
4. Bigger party information.
5. Ability to enlarge or make smaller the action bar.
6. Moore slots for action bar... Not more "bars"... Meaby instead of 3 bars of 10 slots will be better 2 bars of 20 slots. (this will be great for controller user).
Ok. That's all for now. Think. Hope to see your suggestion and see how developers response.
You don't want 20 slots long bars for a controller.
And 10 is a nice number because F keys and 1-0 map nicely to a 2 rows bar. But really I would love for them to let you pick to a reasonable point whatever rows x columns amount, and map each slot to an arbitrary key.
Yea, i can see myself getting annoyed scrolling along from 9 to 19 on the bar, when I could just press the down key and I'm right there.
Really it's a quick fix for the devs. All they had to do was add a dark backdrop or something to that effect. They're probably even finished with most of it since it's "Testing in Progress." For all the trolls questioning SE's priorities, they probably pulled 1 or 2 people out of the UI team for a couple days to redesign this. I don't understand why people act like Yoshi instructed the entire UI team to fix the UI visibility. The lot of them are probably working on the Materia System, Job System, achievements, and help menu interfaces.
