Bro, you're on Mateus server....home of the PS3 players (fact). ANYTHING you have said is invalid and you should just stop. Please.

I have a hunch the only reason you didn't like my post is because you're one of the people I mentioned with having 0 raid clears acting as if you're entitled to be seen as a great player.
No matter what you tell yourself to think you're at the same level as raiders who put the time in to actually get good at the game, the reality is that you're not.
Ahaha, so it comes out, that is what this about, proving your self by doing coil, as in everything outside of coil is a handout. This is a pattern based game, once you learn those patterns everything in the game is easy, this includes coil. Proving your self in this game is simply a matter of learning the mechanics. which nothing in this game is hard to do, my whole argument with this...breakfast club here is simply some people do not want to bother with what they do not feel it worth it, regardless if they can 'prove" them selves or not.
Actually i do, but what people like you fail to understand is that if you know based on my join dates it may just be possible i have more then one character, with said clears, did that thought ever cross your mind at any point? Probably not. but we all have our secrets.Quote:

Just to back it up a bit:
Your initial post that I responded to said it makes no sense to judge somebody as a bad player for having a full soldiery set. You are judging somebody else because they say "lol". How is it any different?
I see both sides. My initial reply to him was very civil, unfortunately I made the mistake of assuming I might get a good discussion out of it.
You are coming across as very mad right now...
I believe people avoid Coil. I believe they have legitimate reasons for it. This stems from Volcano saying "I'm good enough to do Coil" when he's never done it, and using that as an excuse. He obviously feels like it matters because why fabricate an excuse in the first place? Just say you choose not to do Coil and be done with it.
If you are reading any of that as "Mad" you are very horrible at reading people, that is more of a "i cannot
believe i keep respoding to these kid comments and this person seriously is throwing the "umad?" card at me when i am not even the slightest bit mad at anything.
Right, because what you see there is certainly my full and perma set, at all times. Not taking into consideration that after coming back from a break the choices in said gear was better then what a player currently has.Quote:
Regardless of join dates no decent whm would gear in crit. So yeah I'm betting I'm right
and also of the fact that each one of my slots holds different sets of gear and lodestone records what you log off and on with. No, not at all.
in other words. you should probably stop trying, because i could probably keep a party alive better then you could. Oh let me guess, you expected me to log onto the game in high allagan gear?
I hear waiting for callouts and zerging mobs is much more difficult than grinding soldiery..
When hunts are the standard for getting Sands/oils there's really no other conceivable method that is easier.
I'm all for this as long as hunt rewards remain the way they are.
I'm actually a trained negotiator with the CIA and have single handedly brought an end to several hostage situations in my career thanks to my body language skills. Unfortunately the internet is composed of letters, rather than people's facial expressions, which somewhat inhibits my ability to use my talents.
Then get Coil done!
So you're telling me that you don't want the best gear?
"good players" at least try and get the best gear.... so you're to lazy to even "try" and get the best gear?
From what I've gathered. "I'm a great player but i pay $12.99 to get the handout gear because i'm "lazy"."
An average session of hunts could easily yield an Oil or Sand. Hunt after maintenance and you could be looking at two if you get a Mark Log or two in as little as four to five hours. I love how people's first reaction to somebody doing something better than them is to call them a liar. He's being perfectly truthful.
never once did i say i didn't want the best gear, Not sure where you got that, but having a means of doing so and getting it another story, i JUST got back to this recently, and i certainly cannot pull a raid group out my pocket. Not that i have even been looking, once i am bored with everything else in the game, i might consider it, but for right now it personally has no interest to me.
All that training .and you failed to read that simply post properly to see that is in no way "angry" does your training help you read minds as well? because you failed at that part, i can't show you my face to let you know there is no "maddess" in me, as i do not get mad at such trival things like disagreements. You need more trainingQuote:

I am talking because I've hunted enough to get 5 sands so far, it's fairly easy, but not as easy as just 4 hours considering 4 hours is the average spawn time for most As. Hunt after maint is something that happens once or twice a week so no point on passing it as if it was something regular.
And the drop rate of books is not that high either to be considered something regular from killing each A once.

I don't do coil but I don't think sands of time should be soldiery based that's a little too simple, maybe some quest line on a weekly reset like the primal focus quest. nobody complained that anybody using the primal reward weapons were not as good as coil goers because garuda, titan, ifrit extreme wasn't a joke back then some even suggesting titan ex being equally difficult as coil turns 1-4.
I feel disappointed in this patch 2.2-2.4 that there hasn't been any outside of coil difficult objectives (mog, levi, ramuh, much simpler than titan) but this is also reflected in the fact they only reward i100 gear.
I don't do coil simply because i cant static no matter what. When one day you work from 1pm-9pm and the next your working from 9pm-5am or you have Monday Tuesday off one week and Friday, Saturday the next i just simply avoid doing something that would cause stress.
This whole thread went from a bad idea to a whole lot of special real quick...
Of course not, but if you need to throw kids a toy every now and then there is no harm in keeping your self entertained, in this game i simply ate dinner while reading posts and responding i am about to go back to enjoying the game again. Let them play jumping jacks to get to know each other, maybe i'll see more browsed memes and random gifs from ceetwo while i'm at in during DF wait times and fates. Come now. like i said eariler, we all have our secrets. Mine in this case is keeping my self entertained from tryhard kids.
Not every four hours, four hours after maintenance. You're conveniently dropping the context from my post to suit your own desperate attempt not to look bad at simple content. Let's do some very simple maths, I hope you can keep up:
I start camping 30-60 minutes after maintenance when the first round of As spawn: 17 A Ranks at 20 Seals each, 340 from that round. Four hours later they'll have all spawned again. So within 4-5 hours (which was my initial assessment, thank you!) I've gained 680 Seals. Throw in all the misc. B ranks killed in that time and you can all but definitely farm a Sand in that time. Throw in a Log and that's a guaranteed Sand.
I guess you're just bad at hunts if this seems so unrealistic. Which is really pathetic because hunts are so easy. :(
Actually, my first reply to him was civil and in response to his point. He just decided that not to continue the debate and started getting personal. He kind of had it coming. It's amazing he believed me, I purposely made sure it wasn't believable.

"Look bad" to who? And by doing what? I'm just saying he's exaggerating and the context he's replying he makes it seem like it's a regular thing, not only after maint. And where do I sound desperate?
I know that, but again like I said in my previous post it's not something you will do regularly, just once per week.Quote:

I don't get the beef between you two but isn't this a bit ironic when you are now attacking ME because he's not replying to you?Quote:

When I didn't get personal with you and I'm not attacking you either.
I don't get why you are trying to start an argument with me now.
Sands and oils are retardely easy to obtain from hunts. Plus no cap so able to farm as many as you want (personal time allowing of course) in a short peroid of time. Which invalidates sand and oil from SCoB. 2 sands, 2 oils split between 8 people per week. Syrcus tower will have a weekly cap of 1 sand or oil per week with, I assume, 2.35.
So where exactly is the problem of being able to buy 1 sand or oil per week with soldiery? They are already given out hand over fist with hunts, which, with the zerg train are even easier than the dungeons that you could run to earn the soldiery to buy them with. Pre hunts we used to decide who would get the sands/oils that week based on who needed it most or what would be beneficial to the raid as a whole. Now, who cares, open loot.
Not to mention it would probably cut down on the zerg as some do hunts because it is the only way to obtain sands outside of coil at the moment. Then when 2.35 rolls around and sand is added to ST, most will already have what they wanted already.
One sand per day is reasonable, I don't really hunt 24/7, I pick a random day to hunt and just kill S ranks during the week, getting a sand that one day I pick.
What I'm saying is... it's not reasonable to say 4 hours per sand like it's something anyone can do anytime, it's only possible when all timers reset.
