It is FAR from the perfect game and has it's share of problems but I do not see 10 seconds of waiting an issue as immersion itself is only an illusion and personally I see no need to absolutely immerse myself in a virtual world. I enjoy it just fine knowing it is just a game, I feel no need to get that sense that I am IN the game. Also, you talk of believability... I could bring this thread to 100 pages on the ways Physics, anatomy, physiology, and biology are SHATTERED by this game utterly.
Seriously, the fact that they call each of the choices between characters "Races" makes the biologist in me want to eat rusty nails.
