Played around with your macros a bit, and found out they work wonderfully on both the 4-star recipe book turn ins, as well as the 4 star synths themselves. Requires maxed out melds, of course. I went with Con4, Craft3, Craft3, Craft3, CP3 on my offhand for reference.
For the recipe book items, first macro just needs to have one of the Hasty Touches replaced with Piece by Piece. Other than that, I check the number of IQ stacks after step 2, and finish the craft manually. The finisher is the same as well, but I look at the condition and if it isn't Good or Excellent, I use reclaim and try again.
This is the edited first macro I use:
/ac "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Inner Quiet" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Piece by Piece" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Piece by Piece" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Piece by Piece" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Master's Mend II" <me> <wait.3>
/echo #2 NOW ##
For the actual 4-star synths themselves, you can remove Ingenuity 2, since 3 PbP and 3 CS2 will finish the craft. Your 3rd step macros can all remove it and save on CP, letting you have a bit more room to play around with different abilities.
Other than that, also wanted to mention that I love your macros and have been using them for months now. :D
