I don't think this is all that confusing. They'll be implementing jump, and once it's in the game you'll be able to cancel a spell by jumping. Assuming the jump button is mapped to the controller, that would be the most natural way for someone using a controller to cancel a spell. Those who primarily use keyboard controls might find ESC to be a little easier. Either way, you'll have two options for cancelling a spell.

I have to agree that it is pretty clear this is confirmation they intend to add jump in the (hopefully near) future.

This means exactly what he said...why are people so bad at reading comprehension?

IFFFFFFFF there will be a jump feature, THEN it would be possible to cancel spells by jumping...

So now WHAT exactly was so hard to understand on that sentence? They had it in several letters so far that they are still thinking about a jump feature and if it makes sense...so what is wrong with everyone...this is neither a confirmation nor a denial that jump will/could come...so don't jump the gun and start to listen to what people say for a change.

Bayohne doesn't want us to jump into jump discussions where jump can be applied with a jump button in the future.

Why are people acting like this 'confirmation' is news, we've seen Jump coming in the producer's letters/plans for months now, in fact there have been numerous threads about it.

Also, I seriously hope jump will work in battles.

oh and I want to say something about that, I want dodge to evade attacks, like left arrow + jump key = dodge ----> enemy attack evaded

I hope everyone is ready for a mechanic in boss fights that does ground damage and forces everyone to jump or die.

As long as the physics in their chesticalogical regions are exaggerated, I'm on board with the jump feature.

SE got a massive backlash for not putting jump in this game.. It's only natural that they would see it as a way to pull in New Subs at PS3 release.. To do that they need us to beta the feature and they will have to redefine all of the world boundaries.
