A facepalm moment is when I start an attack (BLM has a looong casting time), my poor guy goes down on his knees, targets, targets, targets and just when the bomb is supposed to go off, all I read is "aborted". Sometimes because the tank started to move the enemy, sometimes because an enemy I can see clearly is around the corner from the Game's perspective, sometimes because my crap fingers touch the left analogue stick, sometimes because the enemy interrupts me in the end, sometimes..only Lord knows why lol.

A personal facepalm moment for me was in AK when a tank asked ME (me = BLM) to keep the bees on Demon Wall away from him.

T4, BLM, first dread, tank is positioning and I have both firestarter and thundercloud procs ready to be used and I just popped raging strikes... I may have accidentally the whole party with rotorswipe. Lets just say we'd prefer take 3 BRDs than me on BLM into T4 now :3

T1 SMN, using Rouse>Spur> Enkindle right as the snake splits.....and Garuda takes aggro from the off tank and wipes everyone. Hehe oops!

Trying to be a cool kid and repelling shot off titan ext, only to misjudge the distance and fall to your doom. ;;

Using Blood for Blood out of habit right when Titan starts his stomps...WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS!?

- Zoning out during "tank talk" in Caduceus and then realizing I'm not even with my group anymore for buffs and I have a lalafell /poking me repeatedly to get my attention. (Why is everyone talking so much, just let me kill the snake. ;_;)

Actually, most of my derps stem from me zoning out. /ADHD

- Spineshatter Diving right into Garuda's wicked wheel.

- Randomly deciding to Flare Suparna and Garuda together.... just as spiney was taunted over. :x

- Having a squirmy tank as a DRG, trying four times to flank an enemy just to have the tank turn it every single time for absolutely no reason and I'm like FFFUUUU *hands in resignation*

- Having a DRG in T4 say that they don't like using Doom Spike because "it's crap".

Just did the Dhorme Chimera fight for my monk relic and while it was a smooth run, I realized afterwards that I had never turned on Fists of Fire. D'oh!

I was playing as BLM in titan ext. We were going to one shot. Titan does 3 way landslide after bombs. Im in a little corner in between the landslides at the edge of the stage but still close to titan. I take one step too many backwards. I fall. I say "Oh Sh*t!" Group laughs xD

I'm a Dragoon. Decided I wanted to play faux tank and see if I could take on a boss fate on my own, with my chocobo as healer. Was doing really good, when people started to show up, I was holding him in place with no problems... Then I fumbled and used Elusive Jump. Thus a nearby Archer received the aggro and we all had to run around while the poor guy kited about for the rest of the fight to stay alive.

I still feel so bad.

Titan HM, freeing the only healer from the gaol in P5...during a landslide. Multiple times. Today the guys from FC freed me from a gaol in Titan EX right on the triple landslide. Now I know what karma feels like.

best dps fail moment for me? Fighting Titan HM with my dragoon. Weight of the land procs and to make it easier on me I tend to Elusive jump if it's off CD so that I don't have to worry. I elusive jumped right off the platform.

My dragoon relic win. Got ressed and wanted to get right back into the fight, so I power surged Spineshatter Dived... into 3 plumes.

Was getting tired while doing t4 as a smn. During phase 2 I DOT the soldier, baned the dots and Fester the KNIGHT for a reflected 1358 critical to the face... had a lot of explaining to do with my healer..

Used scathe over and over on spiny while suparna was still up, cause I had tunnel vision. Had poison and windbite arrow on macro, switched targets and hit spiny with poison. Luckily it didn't die

Shoulder Tackle right into a Wicked Wheel in Garuda Extreme. That'll leave a mark.

Second Tornado phase starts .. LB not ready for Chirada so we take her down with pure DPS.. > Spineshatter Dive on Suparna [OT tanking both Suparna and Spiny Plume]
.. This time LB is ready.. I press R1 to switch CrossBar to activate LB.. but I do it wrongly.. L2+R1 ... ended up targeting Spiny Plume.. didn't realise it.. and LBed the Spiny Plume >_< ... we wipe...

haha.. apologised the best I could because I can not speak Japanese.. cleared it on next try =p

On titan hard mode, in the heart phase,I miss targeted the heart and unleashed the lb2 on the granit goal....
For the record....the granit goal went down...

Sorry to bump this 'old thread', but something amazing happened to me the other day that really needs to be shared.

I joined a Titan Hard group with random people to help someone get their relic. We went with the standard 1x tank, 2x heals, 5x dps strategy. I was on SMN.

The monk who needed his relic died preheart. Someone else got landslided off a little bit later, and the third dps followed suit soon after as well. There was no option to even try to raise them because they were off the playing field. It eventually was just me and a BLM as the dps finishing off the fight. So, the only limit breaks at our disposal were: tank, healer, caster.

We keep fighting until Titan has about 10% of his HP left when the BLM decides to unleash LB3 right when bombs are spawning. The moment the meteor hit the ground (and blinded all of us) was right when he was targeting his landslide during clock bombs. I couldn't see a thing. I tried to dodge in the direction I assumed it would target, but clearly miscalculated, and got knocked off. The BLM who was in animation lock from using LB3 at that time also got knocked off. I literally facepalmed.

Thankfully, the two healers and tank were adaptable and able to finish it off without any dps still on the platform, but it could've been a wipe to that silly mistake. Thinking back on it, I should have ran to the edge and just ate a bomb. Being dead ON the platform is preferable to being knocked off. Unfortunately, I was so blind that I couldn't even see the edge anyway.

Exactly the reason why I toggled the "Show limited" option in partymate's effects in my settings. LOL! Most of BLM skills hinders my field vision.

I'm glad I am not the only one who has done the elusive jump whoopsie in Titan HM >_>

I've also done that with my bard at least once.
