DPS Facepalms

I know that we all have our facepalm moments whether from ourselves or others, I think sharing our DPS Facepalm moments would be fun. So what are yours? Let's share a laugh or two ^^

One of the biggest ones that I encounter is when someone in party shouts out to me (MNK) to LB right after I have already done so. Or that "Monk, LB!" in party that I get when we don't even have a full lb meter.

Being oom as a blm, for any reason. Except for if you had to dodge right before your blizzard 3 finishes casting and it takes away your AF and doesn't give you UI, making you waste convert or wait for enough mana to cast blizzard. That facepalm is directed to SE.

It's fun when you Transpose right after a Flare but you don't get UI... Especially if Convert isn't up because it was your second Flare.

LOL same here but worse, Pt leader said Jah use your LB now! I did not know how to use LB since I did not use it before and did not read patch notes or kb shortcuts...... and DERP never launched it. Instead, I just pushed the button and waited, not knowing whut else to do. Pt lead was understanding when we got out of the duty, he gave me a quick tutorial on how to use LB. I apologized!

Slightly laggy MNK against Batraal. Died the first time due to lag. Took the rez, Shoulder Tackle, "I have a bad feeling," Grim Cleaver, eating dirt again.

At least the healer laughed it off. He was the only one who caught what I did. >_>

To build upon your error, my group in coil was at Cadecuos. We had just killed our off tank's snake and headed to our main tanks to finish it off. I'm trotting over as a dragoon and my group's monk decides to use shoulder tackle to keep stacks up. Unfortunately, he did it at just the right time to provoke tail swipe that caused my quick death. I uttered an explective on team speak to much laughter as others saw happened (and a few put in party chat loldrg).

After hours upon hours of helping people try to clear Titan ex, my brain started to melt. The two jails spawned and I went to Bane dots onto the DPS jail for Fester, but never Baned the dots. Then I festered the jail without any dots on it. That's a REAL facepalm for a summoner. It's super embarrassing and I'm glad no one called me out on it. ;P

Lol, Festering things with no dots on it has been an occasional occurrence of mine, my FC mates caught me one time in T1 during cad cause I got the snakes mixed up, we wiped at like 2% with 1 snake left, and immediately one of my fc mates goes, "That would have been a clear if you were paying attention and weren't festering things with no dots!" lol.

My most recent would be in Garuda X, final phase about 10% hp left, forgot to set garuda-egi on obey after resummoning, uses Aeriel slash on Garuda, but hits spiney plume(tank got it down pretty low) as well and kills it, no one noticed because we were trying to burn down the boss and then boom right in our faces, everyone had a good laugh about it, but I was just like, I should go stand in a corner for that derp.
