I'd say the average player on non legacy would have < 500k and on legacy maybe < 1mil? I'm sat at quite a bit since I could make about 1mil per day from crafting but I didn't really play much after I capped all my classes with relics & DL so about 1.5 months doing nothing. After 2.1 it's gone pretty bad for making that kind of money now since market is flooded with pretty much anything now a days.
I hope they make crafting more profitable eventually with newer updates since 2.1 basically had nothing at all(housing LOL for who?!). Looking forward to 2.2 I gues and hope they put more craftable items in game.
I had around 4mil before 2.1 from selling materia. Materia market crashed(thanks SE...) and now I only have 400k to 500k on average.
Not a crafter in either 1.0-1.23b nor 2.0-2.1, so none of my gil comes from crafting. When they announced we would be losing 90% of our gil during the transition from 1.23b to 2.0, I went on a shopping spree in 1.23b to use up most of my gil and barely had 3 million when the servers went offline, so I started with around 600K in 2.0 (many items were automatically converted in gil cause they don't exist anymore so I got some extra gil from that.) I have 18 characters on my server (3 service accounts, 6 characters on each) so it cost a fortune to get them all lvl50 +1 gear/accessories/weapons for each character when the game first came out (wish I had waited, since everything I paid a fortune for is now like 2K, I was basically spending every gil earned to gear these damn mules. lol) Now I'm sitting on about 5.2~ million, would have been more but when they announced that we would have to bend over and smile to own FC house on the Aegis server, I decided to just spend a lot of my gil buying unnecessary crap like all 4 coliseum pieces for all my female characters (no way is any of my male characters gonna wear any coliseum gear...ever...,) so now it's just around 5.2~ million. Gonna ease up on throwing away gil and now I'm gonna wait until SE gets off their high horse and makes FC what they promised it would be, affordable by 3 people who saved the gil from going lvl1-50. Not this 50 people kick in 1 million to get a small FC house and some furnishings b.s. we currently have to go through...
Well, this tread is making me feel better about my 1.5m
I think the average player has less than 100k. If most people were running around with 500k+ then 8 mil wouldn't be crap for a small FC to come up with for housing.
i have around 700k on retainer and around 80k in hand. Though not anymore, I spend around 50k last night haha.
Well, as a very tight FC of only 9 active people, 7 being 50s, we're just about to clear 7 million in the bank, I'll put us at 8 million with what we hold back for ourselves. Myself, if I took back what I'd put in the bank it would be about 4-5 million. But that's because I craft and gather and study the market and have only been working part time. (None of us are Legacy players.)
And we're still well out of reach of housing, despite being richer than most everyone it seems.
Out of reach for housing? 7 million gets you a small house, which is fine for a FC of 9 people.
Well if you want a medium then you are not going to be close anytime soon as they range at what, 50 million?
I'm a fresh level 50 from 4-5 days ago. By the credit rolling I had 160k, farmed tomes, my ifrit weapon, almost full DL set, at this point I have a little bit over 200k. I don't buy or craft though, everything I need probably just through farming tomes.
The plot we've picked out is sitting at 26 million and change right now. We're hoping when the prices get tweaked a bit later on, and if we keep working hard like we have been, we'll be able to afford the plot we want before they're all bought up in a month or two.
Before 2.1 came out, I had 1 mil+ almost always from selling Tier IV Materia. Now that it's worthless I'm hovering around 100k and will need to level some crafts or sell EM Primals to make money again. The only reason I'm not broke is I'll run a daily roulette for 5k+ a day just to stay positive on repairs. But I haven't bought a thing since 2.1 came out, can't afford to.
I read that the dailies generate 20k a day, but I ran all 6 of them and only made like 3k, so I don't see it. I'm not going to run dailies for 2 hours or even an hour for 3k gil, ridiculous. And sometimes you have to do a fate and wait even longer...
If Yoshi meant to say that running every roullete, low, high, story, etc etc and all the dailies was 20k counting gil drops from the dungeons.... Yeah who's got time for that. I can make 20k mining for 2 hours instead of running all of that for 6+ hours. The only time I run a roullete is on monday after myth reset for the 70-90 myth toomes, then we run bcb and I run CT 3 times for gear on my blm and my myth is capped after 1 garuda EM and I'm done for the week, just progress on T5, attempt Titan EM, etc.
I would sell fleece, but it's worthless now. Nothing that drops is worth any real money anymore. Selling Primals is the best way to make money fast right now, or selling 1-4 BCB with loot rights.
Kind of sad, but Tier III materia is worth more than Tier IV right now in some cases.
I am a Legacy player, and started in patch 1.15. And atm I have 300.000 Gil to my name XD
Hmm, I have never crafted, well, to any point that'd I'd be able to profit from anyway. My Goldsmith is like lvl 6 or something..
I did sell Philosophy tome mats for a while after I had geared my 1st job in Darklight, that netted me a fair amount of gil back then. Now.. Well, now it's garbage. Can still make some gil that way but mostly it's not quite worth it unless you've got absolutely nothing else to spend your Philo tomes on.
I'm sitting at 1.5 mil now. I've actually probably gained around 100k gil since the update just from running dungeons, doing dailies, Treasure Hunts and using the Duty Roulette (I love DR) and selling a few Philo mats (sold about 6 of an item once). My income these days consists of just that, as well as converting any convertible armors/weapons/accessories on the classes I haven't hit 50 with yet and selling the Materia on the AH which usually doesn't really net much at all, but it is something.
In fact, since they started adding gil to dungeon mobs I've seen a marked, yet slow and steady increase of my funds in general. I don't spend much at all because there is very little in this game that you actually need to buy on the AH. This is coming from a non crafter too.. so yeah. (at least I haven't really gotten into crafting yet) The only main loss of income is simply from using Teleport pretty much. Edit: Oh.. and Repairs, always repairs..
I'm lvl 50 goldsmith, doing various other crafts in the range of lvl 20-30 at the moment. My black mage is lvl 35.
I usually have between 500 gil - 40.000 gil, depending on wether I just bought materials or just picked up income from my retainers. On days where the items I craft sell well, I'm able to add about 10.000 gil a day to my FC's savings.
I'm not sure about the gil quote, but yeah you don't make that much, but it's still extra gil. Even so, it doesn't take an hour to complete 6 dailies. It takes all of 10 to 30 minutes (tops) to complete 6 with the Rank 2 dailies taking slightly longer but still included in that 30 minute range. When I was just doing the initial 3 rank 1 dailies for each beastman tribe it took about 10 minutes to complete for all 6, maybe 15 minutes. The only time it does take a while is when you are stuck with that R1 sylph quest involving the FATE. Even that is avoidable though. If you run that FATE at anytime you get the key item and can hold onto it and simply turn it in to complete the daily. I always would check to see if it was up whether or not I had the quest just to snag the key item and not have to wait for the FATE to spawn when I actually got it for a daily.
..But yeah, if the dailies are taking you 1-2 hours to complete you are doing something wrong, or you just got stuck being unprepared for the FATE daily. While I will agree it does suck having to wait on that FATE sometimes, there are ways around having to wait on it by being prepared ahead of time.
Well little over a week ago I had 3k left from overmelding. (lol) Been looking at what consumables sell, picking the right things and selling, now have just under 450k, (after donating 50k for guild house funds, do my bit when I can.) hopefully i can hit a million someday lol.
2250 per roulette, 4 roulettes, 9k gil. Some junk gil (<1k) from your Sastasha run, circa 3k each from high-level roulette and story roulette in gil drops, 600 gil each from 6 dailies. That would be 19,600 gil per day. Actually takes about 2.5 hours to do -- 30 mins each for 3 dungeon runs, 10 minutes for a Guildhest, 20 minutes for each tribe's dailies. If you do dailies, you will have more than enough seals to repair on GC seals alone. I don't pay gil for repairs.
Average on Coeurl is probably around 3-4 mil, median around 800k. I have 6 mil and spend 90% of my ARR time running CT for items that never drop. I'll be doing my 14th run of the week this evening.
1.7m here. Been hovering around this amount for a month or so now. Was selling accessories on my gsm till 2.1 hit. Plummeted sales to under 500 gil. Wasn't worth it anymore. I now make money selling maps and whatever I can mine that yields the most at the moment.
3 million.
I would love to know how much the average FC has in the bank.
On a good day I have about 50K. My company has about 2M saved for housing atm.
Our FC has about 4 million from titan hm sells and donations.
Not enough to buy a house, My server's market is so cheap I don't think the average player has much gil. It's more about access to items such as food, potions and gear. Everyone has everything to 50 so gil is irrelevant. SE give us Golden Saucer and have the rewards be tickets to cash in for prizes. >.>
