Can we limit people who didnt reach end game from posting feedback about end game?

Bards have no burst damage... My bard is in full DL and relic +1... Best crit, mid 500's... Monks, Dragoons, Black Mages etc... All crit for well over that... My auto attack is less than 200 w/o crit, and the only way to do any burst dmg as a bard is to have rng luck and get blood letter and straight shot to proc back to back... I had that happen once, and when all was said and done, in that 2.5sec timeframe, I managed the equivalent of 1 BLM crit.

OP we are not, we just happen to be affected less by necessary requirements to move. How about instead of rooting or damage reduction, require higher ACC of bards... I.E. Lower ACC = missed shots while moving. That by default would lower dmg but wouldn't feel like a nerf bat to the balls because other players are mad we do the SAME, not more damage that they do.

I've had Bloodletter proc a lot. Like, a whole lot. There have been times where Bloodletter has proc'd four times back to back. BRD has the same chance of burst damage as DRG and MNK and BLM. It's all based on your crit rate. If anything, they get more, because they can put two DOTs up with 50% chance to proc Bloodletter each. Then they also get the guaranteed crit from Straighter Shot. That's not counting the fact that DRG and MNK damage stops completely when the mob runs away to do a move, and BLM damage stops completely when the mob targets them and they need to run.

The issue is just that BRD can consistently do damage regardless of the situation they're in. There's no blindspots or hinderance... with the exception of turning around so that your back is to the enemy. That's really the only thing (and a very ridiculous one) that stops a BRD from doing max/near-max damage unhindered. A nerf is sort of needed for balance sake.

Mind you, I'm not exactly talking about nerfing damage, but rather efficiency while mobile might need a nerf. In fact, they could raise the damage to offset mobility nerfing. Maybe movement reduces damage or distance affects potency. For anyone that has played FFXI, think of it along the lines of how RNG is (was?) with damage output depending on distance. It doesn't have to be that same thing, but something along those lines might work.

Bards have really high burst.... once every 180 seconds or so. Bards have more offensive CDs then any other job by quite a bit, and stacking BfB, IR, RS (on a lower CD to boot), Hawk's Eye, and most importantly Barrage. Your burst damage is through the roof. Outside of that burst tho your damage is quite low as a bard.

dude just stop talking...ur not even thinking about the high complex rotation we gotta do with precise timing...while dodging...move to kill adds then go back to boss again...oh and pray for any reason the boss moves and u miss ur back attack or side attack buffs cause that will hurt ur dps.

It's not OP, it's just pretty much required for coil with the silence rotation. For some reason SE chose to give Coil mobs abilities that can be silenced on a 2 BRD rotation. It doesn't make the job overpowered though...

It CAN proc a whole lot. It doesn't always and you can't consistently count on it procing... That's NOT burst damage. It's consistent damage with very few spikes over longevity.

The rest of your post proves my point... The fact that BRD can do damage the whole time, and STILL NOT out dps any other class shows no need of nerf. If they were miles ahead, or even consistently ahead of all other classes, then yes a nerf would be a good idea for balance. But the fact that pound for pound, Bards are at best on par with, and more than likely lower in overall dmg + dps numbers than other damage classes is pretty balanced IMHO.
