I've carried my team through the fights solo healing several times. The "im the healer so go ahead and wipe" card doesn't work that well...

Even done it without the OT, so go ahead and keep looking for that reason.

Well good for you, what type of cookie would you like, the problem with this retarded logic is, even if you do manage to work your way through it serves no hinderence to the people watching the CSs, so you are in fact doing the work while they sit there and watch the CS as there is no penatly for being left behind. in fact, you could even beat the last boss while they chill out.

So you go on ahead and do that then, i'll probably even suggest some people who enjoy the story look for you then, so they know they don't have to do jack since your level of impaitence is so great you're willing to work for them. Nice try tho.

Man I am sorry you have selective memory problems, really you won't remember the story if you watch it later at your own convenience? or even in sequence without gaps such as stopping to fight trash mobs.

This is a terrible idea. That being said, I'm all for first timers watching cutscenes even if the rest of the group is trying to do a duty finder speedrun. Just watch them anyway, it's not like they can kick you.

I'm of the opinion that if you want to do a speedrun but queue using the duty finder, you have no right to complain if there are people in there who want to watch everything. It's super easy to make a premade in /shout if you want a party full of speedrunners (and you'll clear the dungeon faster too), just go to Mor Dhona and say LFG CM Speedrun and you'll get a party within 10 minutes.

However, what would *really* fix the problem is having SE just spread out the damn tomes over more content. Give level 50s 15-20 tomes for helping lowbies clear their dungeons. Add a 5 tome bonus for clearing level 45+ FATEs at level 50, so maybe we can get people actually running those high level beastmen FATEs that everyone seems to ignore. Buff the tomes given from Wanderer's Palace. Slightly buff the tomes given from hardmode primals. To compensate for all of this, slightly nerf the tomes given from CM and/or AK.

I don't know. Do SOMETHING. Having nearly all of the tomes coming from two dungeons just makes for a really terrible experience at endgame when you need to grind a shitload of this currency and have only two options to do it.

A simple solution - make a story mode of the dungeon that is 4 players or even solo?

But making an endgame tomb run dungeon involved in story is lawl. The players who want to watch it the first time get hurt by this design. The players who want to watch it EVERYTIME get hurt by this design. The players who don't watch to watch it at all get hurt by this design. We are FORCED to stop mid-battle and be interrupted because of those CS's... It was just designed in a silly way. The CS involve text, some reading slow, and some fast, people who finish it faster are hopped into battle while the ones reading slower can't help them - Yeah good design there SE.

Issues like these should not be in an online game in the first place, and it's no wonder players are fighting over it.

If you want to watch the cutscene, watch the cutscene. If people queue for a main story quest dungeon expecting there to not be people there for *derp* the main story, they're horribly mistaken. If you want guaranteed fast runs, join/make a premade.

While I sometimes queue for dungeons alone in the duty finder hoping for a quick run for some easy tomes, I know to expect people to be new and want to watch the cutscenes. I don't know why others can't do the same.
