You could, if scholar's int and mnd started at the same base. Changing to sch gives it a large mnd boost, so maxing mnd will give a pretty big difference between mnd and int, and using cleric stance will obviously then switch to a large int stat. If you put everything into int, you're going to end up with them already being fairly equal and much lower than they should be.

Not to mention Cleric's Stance has that 20% penalty to healing magic.

Not sure if you guys know this but someone posted this in another thread on this forum.

If you tell your fairy to "obey" and then instantly use "heel" (makes her follow you) it sorta bugs her out to work how she should do. She'll cast embrace and whispering dawn normally (only embrace for selene) but won't use the rest of her abilities. Manually using her embrace also wont reset her to spam her abilities again (even though on your pet bar "guard" will be selected.) Try it out it's so much better being able to completely control your fairy. Oh and you only have to do this once time per instance and everytime you resummon her

True, but unfortunately doesn't help her from wasting the Whispering Dawn cooldown, which is basically the one I'd like to specifically control manually, so I can reliably chain together Rouse, Illumination, Succor, Dawn. But it does help if you're running Selene en wish to control her spell or melee buff yes.

Yeah that is true. But it's still useful for Eos cos the 20% healing can be useful in certain phases (like Garuda mid add phase for example or even demon wall when you're undergeared a bit)

Also it can be noted that self built parties don't enforce role discrimination, so as a full MND Arcanist you can heal and tank dungeons up to 30 *except Toto-Rak. After that it's probably better to purely heal as SCH or dps as SMN (if one of your WHM guildies wants to come along) but situationally there are still fights you can tank (FATE bosses, for instance.)

According to a friend of mine, saving your Aetherflow charges for Lustrate is necessary for burst healing in Bahamut's Coil.

The one piece of advice, (the absolutely most detrimental piece of advice that each SCH guide posted seems to forget to mention) and, imho, the most important piece of advice regarding SCH heals: protectiveness, you need to play very proactively. You are a mitigation/support healer with small, spammable heals and some shield mitigation utility compared to the WHM's raw direct healing power and there seemingly-more-benefit from Determination. This being said, and, (as I've seen so many SCH's do), you should not try to play "top-the-whole-group-off" as much as possible vs. a WHM. You won't win, ever. You need to have a very good sense of prediction if you plan to play SCH endgame as "Lustrate" won't always be around to save you in quickly-going-south situations. I have both a +1 relic WHM w/ DL/AF+1 and an SCH with 8/9 DL and a relic soon (3rd relic toon). I'm pretty familiar with both classes' strengths/weakness, pro's/conz and can give advice based on situation.

One additional element that I think cannot be overlooked that helps you with situation awareness is your HUD. This goes for any class really, but more so for healers because unlike DPS or maybe even the tank, your focus is on everyone, including yourself.

--Optimize hotbar positioning to reduce move movement across the entire screen
--Optimize HUD layout so that important items are at eye level
--Keybind important pet functions (e.g. Embrace)
--Pay attention to line of sight and distance from teammates

Lastly, as a SCH -- I've found that I've messed up MOST when I've gotten too distracted applying DOTS too much. Priorities 1, 2 and 3 are healing, healing and more healing. If you start applying your std DOT rotation on a large pull ( 4 - 5 mobs) and the tank a huge burst of damage, you may have lost critical seconds to get him back in a safe range.
