INCREASE TIME FOR DUTY FINDER POP AND TEXT NOTIFICATION

1 min is the maximum. 5 mins is like going to a Rihanna/Justin Beaver concert... Long wait and bad performance.

* You don't need 2-3 mins to switch jobs when you are crafting.
* You can enter Instance without killing the aggro mob that is hitting you.

No. I hate waiting for that one asshat who decides not to click accept for ages.

45 seconds is somewhat long, 30 would be just fine. :)

I think this is the best option, even if it was just an additional minute to finish your cutscene or whatever is keeping you from entering. At least you could accept and simply put up the "viewing cutscene" message on your name for the people already in.

I'd love to level battle classes while in queue for a dungeon on my main class, and a lot of times the queue pops during downtime. Sometimes though it will pop when I'm chaining monsters or in the middle of a FATE, at which point I'm struggling to kill them all and switch classes before the timer runs out.

It's just discouraging to try and level a battle class while in queue with another class.

Pretty much it's time to either browse the internet or lift some weights.

Because as a person who's already accepted, I don't want to wait 5 friggin minutes for some rude, lazy player that fell asleep at the keyboard or do goodness knows what that took him away from the computer. And what happens when that person still doesn't accept after 5 minutes? You just wasted everyone's time.

If you can't be bothered to pay attention and stay near your computer while in queue, then don't use it and make manual parties. 45 seconds is more than fair. I would accept 1 minute, but not a second longer.

Correct me wrong but doesn't a big box (the size of your character screen) with a ACCEPT button appear on your screen? when you get in? how do you not see that? and how will a little tiny text notification in the chat help especially when the chat is a cluster F*** most of the time.

You could always pay attention. 45 seconds is plenty of time to switch into the proper class and join.

I don't want it any longer because I play a tank and waiting for dps to pull their heads out of their backsides takes long enough as it is.

Sometimes if you're in a CS etc. that box will instaminimize on you and you don't notice. The reason it won't let you accept or generally do anything during a CS is so that you don't bork the quest/mission and potentially be unable to ever finish it without getting your char rolled back. Ive known people in FFXI who had to go through tech Hell because they DCed mid CS and the quest person wouldn't continue on when they logged back in.
