Fanboy? You do realize you are able to avoid mobs throughout multiple dungeons in the game?

You believe it's an exploit because someone else had posted assuming it was a exploit to avoid fighting adds..? I am tired of repeating myself. Do us all a favor, report in the bug section or submit a ticket if you so believe it is an exploit to avoid any mob in every single dungeon.

Like I said in my edited post, I am simply stating my opinion and discussing it with others. I am not sure why you are so worked up. I understand being able to avoid some mobs, that isn't a problem and most likely intended. When you can clear an entire dungeon without killing a single trash mob, that to me seem like an exploit. I also removed the fanboi part in an effort to start a sensible debate.

Did you ever play FFXI? If you did you wouldn't be talking. It was a common practice then and is now, designed to be optional.

I was not aware of that. What is the point of the trash mobs then? I could be completely wrong, I am simply going on what I know and in most MMO's would be considered an exploit to be able to clear an entire dungeon without killing a single mob. If this is intended then so be it. I don't have a problem with skipping trash if it is intended.

It isn't "intended" its optional. You can fight through them all if you want, there is loot to be had throughout the dungeon by doing so if I recall correctly. People skip not to beat the timer stuff, but to farm tomes as best as they can as fast as they can.

Not to mention, the dungeon is a gear check for most people. Not everyone passes it easily. If you don't have good enough gear or tactics, you won't win and will need to go back and forth dodging the trash repeatedly which I have seen happen multiple times.

I understand the point I have just never heard of optional trash mobs for an entire dungeon lol. I was wrong then, if this was the norm in FFXI I guess it would be safe to assume this is not an exploit then and all trash mobs are optional. Good to know thanks for the info.

I don't think SE mind people who pull trash mob and run fast.
This was the only way you could clear dungeon in 25 min special condition in old day 1.0 right? and SE intentionally designed it that way.

knowing the boss > gear

all the gear in the world wont save u from getting pushed down in the wall boss :P

Undergeared as in I saw people doing Garuda Hard in DF...wearing Lvl 20 Jewelry. Lvl 40 Weaps...and had 4100 HP as a Tank...don't assume that just cause they are 50...they are actually wearing decent gear.

A lot of peolpe share the selfish mindset of "Why should I waste time in this dungeon for ilvl 60 equip, when I already got access to ilvl 70 stuff doing this, although it's a lot harder and people have to carry me through"

That's why I think attunements are a very good thing and should be implemented for every endgame content. How many ilvl50 equipped people do you think would run around the Coil of Bahamut, if they wiuldn't have to fight all the Primals before? Right...most of them...cause they don't give a shit if they gimp the whole group...the others can do the work, he just wants the drops.

Also, the final boss of wanderer palace, is ALL about the tank going around kiting him and a pletora of trash mobs who MUST NOT BE KILLED D: *no matter what, seriously*.

So being able to run while chased by a lot of mobs, still saving the lifes of your groups, avoiding - if a dps or an healer - to get aggro from the tanks, know where to die, where to hide, how to do that without wiping... is strategy.
