I'm playing wif my girlfriend and we are loving it.

Lots of couples on this game I see..
I met my beloved back in 2007 playing WoW. A year later we met up. She was in VA and I was in CA(ouch!). Another year later she moved in and it's been that way ever since; 5 years and still going strong! We've played multiple MMO's together at this point. What's awesome is that she sits about 4 feet from me. Our computer desks are side-by-side. It's pretty damn awesome.
Six Chambers and Betta Plakat on Balmung!

Here's another couple! I played ffxi for 7 years or so, and i knew from experience that the only way i could play ffxiv was if i got my girlfriend to play too. It worked, now we're side by side at our desks, playing the pc versions :) I'm tanking, she's DPS and i occasionally tell her what to do. Just having two people in synch already makes dungeons so much easier! Especially the fights that require some tactics. Love it!

My girlfriend and I play together. Because dungeons are level synced, it's nice that we can be a bit apart from each other and not have to be like "NO, DON'T LEVEL PAST THIS OR WE CAN'T PLAY X CONTENT TOGETHER" unlike other F2P MMOs we've tried. I look forward to when the servers are less derpy and we can play together without worry more often.
I tend to take the "necessary" roles like tanking or healing (biased towards healing) and she likes ranged damage classes so we generally only need to find a healer or a tank depending on the situation and another damage dealer.
Unfortunately we can't marry in game because we both play females, but maybe that'll change someday haha.

I saw an article awhile back wherein, yoshi said they would be looking into same sex marriage in game. I don't see why it would be a problem. Should be on the docket for a later update. :)
