Kotaku could be right. They could predict the next President and the end of the world. It doesn't matter. They're a laughing stock when it comes to game journalism. Yes, they are likely right in their assessment of the server issues (I still refuse to read it.). But being right here and there does not make them a good or reputable source of information.
Now, we all know the game is having issues, and once other gaming news outlets start reporting in on them, I'll take them seriously. As it stands, Kotaku is going to look even more like fools if this current maintenance fixes the issues.

It would be wrong of me to tear into Kotaku when they're wrong, then suddenly bow to them when they're right as if they never erred. Joystiq also reported on the problems, but almost everyone in the comments there is being rational about it since it's normal to have problems during an MMO launch.
EDIT: Massively put out an article on it and the community is acting like a bunch of spoiled, bratty, 13 year old's as usual, bashing the game and blaming Yoshida and SE for not having superpowers so they could have predicted launch problems. -
