no they originally sent me a 20 digit code...so I went directly to the 20 digit redemption site which said "this code has already been redeemed" or something along those lines. it wasnt an error message.

I punched in the appropriate address myself, did not click the link. Did not access the email on my computer but came upon it on my cell phone. I accessed the web page via a computer. When I typed in my pre order 18 digit code I was instantly emailed the same NA code I received on the 21st. I typed it in anyways to make sure it was not reset. I was told the code was used. I didn't go anywhere but the legitimate website I assume I'm still registered with my 20 digit code.
Other threads are saying that email links to a fake SE site. Disregard and move on, it is spam/phishing. If it was a real issue of them needing to reset codes they would probably put an emergency post on the lodestone.
I made the initial mistake of trying to enter my code into the EU page link, and I had not been aware of the important use of NA and EU accounts via the language selection. I had selected EU as i lived in England and like still to use English spelling of words like "Colour" and Theatre, but was not aware when i picked English (UK) i had confused the coding. Now i have restored things and was able to enter my Early Access Code, download the game and receive the notification e mails and have the game and the add ons for Pre Order including the new services for the items in my account. So be very careful about your settings and use the correct link.
Just to be safe I changed mine as well, though I didn't click the link. Quit concened now if my 20 digit is now affected. Foolish I know, but these days. . .
its a fake email, double check the link. other ppl have gotten them and confirmed fraud from who-is
