Feel like you deserve Legacy? Help me help us.

People really need to stop making these threads, along with the ones talking about subscription. Especially the BETA forums are filled with these remarks. LEGACY status was posted in advance, you should have known of requirements, as well there were given variety of options to achieve this status. It goes to say the same for subscription people saying that if the game isn't F2P it will fail, the game continues to get support from its fans. We should be focusing on helping the developers improve the game, instead of making these tedious threads.

P.S. There are many threads out there regarding this subject, please join the club. Quit making new threads because you desire special attention.

Even then, after I took a break from the game a friend of mine started playing again and told me about some improvements that had been made (like the ability to search the market wards without having to go into them). I started again on Aug.11th, 2012 which made it 92 days subscribed as of the end of the original release (only including the time I started playing again). After the phone call to Square Enix I found out that because I only PAID for 60 days (from the start of 2012, not accounting for the months I had paid for for a sub-par game) I didn't qualify.

I call to the many players that are in the same or similar circumstance to not sit quietly by and let this injustice stand. Let them hear you.

It really is a shame you don't qualify for legacy. But you were given numerous heads-up about the legacy campaign and had months to decide to start paying a subscription (even after the game got way better). So it looks like you just missed the boat on this one. Believe me, I know it stings. I'm not without empathy (unlike a few who have posted here) so I won't be harsh or condescending to you. I felt the same way about missing out on the bikini promotion. But some things you just have to take in stride. Just as I missed out on that, you missed out on this. Not to worry, though. You're still gonna get to play one seriously awesome game when it comes out. And instead of stewing about what you missed, try thinking of all the promotions you can be a part of in the future. ^_^

I would like to thank everyone for their feedback (even the negative). I did numerous searches about Legacy and honestly the results returned really didn't show me much.

I do apologize to those that are sick of the "crying" but like I said I really didn't see similar posts without digging through the forums one thread at a time.

I made calls and followed protocol to get answers and someone suggested I reach out to the community.

Sorry for pissing off whoever is actually angry. I understand now from some of the knowledgeable responses what Legacy was actually intended for and I guess I can do without the little benefits Legacy gives you.

Wow, pretty polite despite having met some of the most, ahem, overzealous members of our community. You definitely get my respect for that.

Well, it's a shame you won't get to be legacy (I really mean that), but there are a lot of promotions we'll be getting in the future I'm sure. Just remember, when a rep tells you to "reach out to the community", take that advice with a grain of salt. Not everyone in our community is nice, if you know what I mean. lol

I'm a Legacy member by accident. It would be nice to think all Legacy players are in that group and were simply doing what came natural to them and got a benefit.

Just play a Legacy server. I don't think anyone will be running around looking at the back of peoples neck to see if you make the cut for a Garuda run.
