I've always thought RDM would be an interesting way of working with Musketeer. But modeling a BLU after ffx-2's Gun Mage is a brilliant idea!!! RDM needs to be up close and personal, less back-line anyway. BLU would be a caster but using a gun to shoot "bad breath" or "bomb toss" back at the mob. Yeah, after spending 50 billion hours killing marlboro and gobbies to learn the spell!!!! I've always though the way BLU's cast spells in XI was a little odd... My Mithra looked like she was having a convulsion. A BLU with a gun = smexy!!! do it SE!!!

I LOVE the idea of Musketeer having Gun/Blue Mage as their job. Blue bullet ftw! I always thought that was a fun way to play it in FFX2.
