ARR Name Changes?

I would like to change my name to Iran Spacemonkey

I think the issue may be that say X's name is John Doe and Y's name is Jane Boe. X wants to change their name (and sex) to Jane Boe, but Y hasn't changed their name yet. Now you could just wipe everyone's name so as to force everyone to pick a new one and free up all used names. But, then the people who are wanting to keep their names will be pissed (I would be) if they lost their name. So...how do you do both?

Perhaps by first asking (as you login) "Do you wish to change your name?" which gives you a temporary name (something akin to GFWL names). Give the users a few days to do this, then when the deadline is coming up to change name all the names will be cleared and you'll be able to choose the one you want.

That being said, what about those who wont be able to access their account until after the deadline etc? Or RPers, not that I care, wouldn't be happy either (lol).

I could be missing some obvious solution though...
