The old man in me remembers the good ole days when we didn't need a continual flow of hype. The game came out, we maybe say a 30 second add, or just saw it in the store, we bugged our parents to buy it, and we played the heck out of it.
A bit, yeah.
The problem of course is that the temptation to suck up every bit of information we can get our hands on, especially if we find ourselves stuck, is often overwhelming.

Problem is, what benefits from giving us every sliver of information possible about something before it even hits retail? Like reading the full synopsis of a movie before it even releases in the cinema (exaggeration)? I don't mind hints and pieces of things, as they're doing atm, but some people think they should even release the coding for the game for us to examine...
