Anyone else feel like not playing until 2.0?

I'm going to try to force myself to level all those crafts I was too busy/lazy to level in the meantime until server shutdown. When I can, I'm trying to join PUGs to practice healing (never healed before <<), and other jobs that I play more often, to make sure I don't get rusty. I still think doing AV/CC speedruns, Garuda and Ifrit X, as well as Rivenroad (hard) are a lot of fun so if I get the chance outside of LS event then I take it.

Started playing GW2 on Saturday.

I can't see myself coming back till 2.0 now. I want to keep all the leveling fun for then.

I'll still no doubt be addicted to the forums though in case a new game play video or job is released.

Will probably log back in the see Black Shroud get destroyed.

I've only got one class at 50 and I feel pretty content keeping it that way until 2.0. I just log in and do a couple quests/leves and chat for awhile. I wouldn't really call that playing.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I log on now and again to craft a bit, but I really struggle to motivate myself to play at all. I was in a great linkshell (Save Point) but it dissolved a few months ago, so I don't really have anyone to do stuff with anymore. I've been invited to new linkshells, but it isn't the same, so at the moment I don't really do anything battle-related, unless I'm helping someone with Job/Grand Company quests or the odd Skirmish.

I think it's only natural that it is like this now, though. The end of 1.0 is close, and it feels like the only thing that matters are the Hildibrand Grand Company quests of each patch.

Well I still have too many things I want to get done before 2.0 hits. Plus like many players I have more than one job at 50 all ready. So yeah..I'm gonna keep playing. :P

Too late for this character but I'll definitely play an alt 1to50 in ARR just to try the low level stuff and get used to the new UI before I try the high level stuff.

I feel a little the same, but I have a plan.

I leveled WHM and BLM to get into groups easier.
I Leveled BSM to be able to do DoH contet.
Leveling MIN to make money.

I have 2 classes I like and one meh class (Pugilist, Gladiator and Maurarder) left to play in ARR. So I'll be able to explore a lot of the world leveling away, And OFC every new class.

This way I can enjoy the current game to its fullest, Only things I've not done is Garuda (my PC was broken during the BLM days) CC win and Hard mode Darnus. I think it will work out quite well to enjoy all of 1.0 and ARR.

Outside of getting a garuda Kill, and possibly downing the raven in hard mode. I don't have much to do that is not a massive time sink. I will say though the main thing that has shot my drive to play this version in the ass was the gamescom game play footage.

After you see how smooth and responsive that client is you realize exactly how busted and screwed this one is.

I'm going to start working on the regional leve achievements that are going away in 2.0, but apart from doing Darnus Hard mode, I've done pretty much everything I've wanted to do. I'm working on getting my repair classes up to 40 so I can repair everything, and if I get REALLY bored, I might try to level some of the crafters further. But there are other games I want to play so doubtful that's going to happen before the game shuts down.

We still have one more lettered patch before the servers go down, but I doubt it's going to be much more than a day or two worth of stuff to do.
