Thread: Anyone else feel like not playing until 2.0?

I'm a loss here guys! I got my Goobbue mount but after seeing a little of what 2.0 has to offer... I'm a little hesitant to level. Does anyone feel the same way? I know it's a little silly, but starting as a 50 feels like cheating! I could totally reroll I know! Guess I'm just waiting for the SEs anniversary to see the release of more jobs. I have this feeling that 2.0 is going to have more content for just leveling purposes rather than endgame content. SE Basically building the game from the ground up!!

What are your alls thoughts? Rerolling? What are your plans pre 2.0? Also, do you think SE is going to raise level cap before adding more end game content?

I pushed to get all the main stories done, GC's done, Livign on a prayer done, and last sub quest battle.

THen it's, well, maybe collect GC gear for jobs in case they go bye bye.

THe only end game content planned is the final battlement. The high level ones and GC related, then open world ones for various levels.

Then it's lights out.

You know i've been really bored lately of playing this. i kinda agree, i pretty much just get on after updates to see more of the per-2.0 storyline. As far as leveling and stuff, levels 30-45 are sooo boring! Yoshi got me pretty pumped when he said there would be more quest/content to level from. I just hope he doesnt mean leve quests.

I doubt I will reroll. I have plenty I can still invest in my character. My plans are to prep by leveling the jobs I will want for 2.0. I have 7 more levels on Botany and I need to take Carpenter 1-50. I want to be able to make furniture for my Mog House.

I hope they wait a year or more to raise the level cap. With the release of 2.0 there will be plenty to do, and they plan on releasing regular patches to keep content fresh.

I hear ya OP I have almost all things to 50 only have botany and fisher both at 44 to get to 50. I was trying to gear up classes with the class only gear that I make myself and finished the story stuff leading to 2.0. I havent beat Garuda hard or even started on relics but I honestly dont feel like doing that stuff right now.

I will keep my current char as Ive spent too much time to just dump her but I will reroll/alt a few other races and genders so I can experience 2.0 from the new player stand point. Like many others I too am anticipating more news as it is made available and can't believe the wait is nearly over to get a look see at beta.

Using this time to get as much progress on Relic (if not an actual weapon)

I've been playing since 2010. Too late for me, but you will miss out on some achievements, and the original story line. As a legacy member I can start I new character if I choose to. So I'm here until the servers go down.
