Not entirely sure where I said anything to the tone of "people know me and I enjoy/don't enjoy the game". I didn't state where I stand on the matter.

I simply don't think it's necessarily wrong for anyone who is content with the way things are to feel that way.

And interestingly, I've certainly seen arguments to the contrary of your claim - that the game isn't casual friendly. So I guess it really comes down to which side of the fence you're on.

I was just thinking about how much I enjoyed HW-SB AST when I got an Orbonne Monastery for Alliance Roulette.

All that's telling me is that things aren't going to change at the core, and that's enough to tell me that I won't be satisfied with the direction the game has been going toward, because I'll still be left with vapid action game DDR, rote memorization, fights that get harder and harder and no room for any actual RPG battlesystem whatsoever.

I hope they'll realize that the original players the game attracted were specifically attracted to the game for a model that is NOT compatible with what we're being served right now. If people that are happy with what they currently have will continue to be happy, then I'm afraid I won't be able to be happy myself. There is no in between there. We're not the same audience.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but that's the ugly truth of it.

I am also at ease knowing I will be in no rush to come back to this game for the next 4-5 years.

Goal post was always the same, just didn't bring up the healing issues with AST.

And frankly, the classes that people have now were built upon the destruction of what people liked about the class. There's nothing wrong with asking for a reversion back to what we once had. And talent trees aren't giving that.

Fact is, given what we've seen this expansion the dev team has proven that, no, they aren't going to fix the classes like people like me want them to. They aren't going to add back skill interplay, they aren't going to add in party interplay, they aren't going to fix the issues with tanks/healers because to do so would disrupt what people currently like at the expense of people who don't. They can't even properly do more than speed up mechanics.

Nothing about the line "players who already like the way things are" brings any confidence or hope that things will change for the people who don't.

We've nothing to go off right now. I'm sceptical too but let's save the rage for when we have something concrete.

Yoshi is sayin "Big changes" is coming to jobs to make them more unique in the exact same interview.
Chances are the nuance was lost in translation like it usually does....

I don’t know. I might be one of the few who thinks all this bickering on the forums could lead to some attention from devs. After all, this is a subscription-based game.

I started to feel uneasy back in ShB. In EW I was like "whatever". Now? I'm uncomfortable.

I'll wait and see till we get more news but for now? I am definitely not at ease. Not one bit.
