I agree with Kris, the physical rendering of the graphics seems lower at max settings, but the art direction/detail is much nicer.
Communal residency with the ability to customize your furnishings both interior and exterior seems like a pretty damn noteworthy feature.
I really can't wait to be like "Hey neighbor, check out my tomato's, and yes I do have a darksteel awning, thank you for noticing!"
