Y'alls really need to understand what a joke is...
I understand the OP may be joking that doesn't change the fact of what's about to come. Are you new here? Eureka and Bozja were hated on this forum and this will be no different although I'd love to be surprised.
On a positive note looks like they've enabled level sync for parties which is good for friends especially not at the same level to play together in a group.
The party leader may press the level sync icon at the top of the Occult Crescent interface to toggle knowledge level sync on or off.
I'm really disappointed.
Bait used to be beliveable...
Then again, in this day and age, I can absolutely see someone posting this and mean it, so who knows, maybe reality is going to make this believable in hindsight? :D
On a more serious note, I am absolutely hyped. Aside from the Eureka downleveling system, I don't know why we went a step back on that. I always considered the Bozja system better, where you don't lose your level entirely? But who knows, maybe they only did this because you needed a certain level for the big FATEs and they didn't want to lock people out from Castrum by having some stray mob hit them three minutes before they want to get in. I assumed they stopped downleveling there because they considered it a bad idea, maybe I was wrong? Still just a minor grievance solved by me gitting gud, so..
Invest in hater stonks now.
I haven't even logged in and I'm already disappointed and angry with how bad they messed up Forked Tower.
Servers are up, so go out and hate the real thing :D
Personally, I'm really disappointed you can't level jobs through it. I'm sick and tired of roulettes. Eureka Orthos in EW was HORRIBLE slow for leveling because the early floors have WAY too much HP. Bozja was great. Leveling jobs while also grinding for the relics felt very rewarding. As it is, I see zero point of ever engaging with the Occult Crescent.
Satire or not, it is fates again baby!
We go on to grind endless boring fates, with the same boring buff mechanics we already got, to achieve an relic weapon that is 1 year to late in the patch cycle.
A relic that nobody needs, because there is no content where you can use it. No hardcore dungeons, no time trails, no solo style rogue-like style game play.
We have raids, where we do not need that weapon at all who are also only the same boring bullet hell bosses over and over again.
If you ever wonder who "Bilbo" feels in lord of the rings, like butter spread on to much bread. Its this game design square enix deliver us every patch. It a little bit of content spread out with endless grind!
And this time they even do something even worse, with there stupid end game dungeon design, where you only can enter when you have a bunch of other people who do the stupidly over complicated ritual to enter.
A dungeon where you must use external tools, like discord, to find groups on your cluster to do it. While they simply ignore the fact, that this do not respect the time of the player.
I wonder... what happens at square enix, they do not produce Orea cookies, where you can deliver the same every time. What happened to them? Why they do micro manage the game to a soulless experience?
