I hate Occult Crescent

The map is bad
The progression is terrible
The lore sucks
The phantom job system sucks
The enemies are repetitive
The FATES are stupid
The relics are ugly and grindy

By far the worst addition to the game since the last addition to the game.
Seriously, who approved this crap?

t's not even out yet, but i'm anticipating myself since it's a certainty there's gonna be one of these threads in the first 10 minutes of it being out

I really appreciate your well thought out and helpful post. But IMO the real elephant in the room is the overall quality of 8.0. Quests, jobs, dungeons, raids, trials, the music, and the color of the sky - everything sucks, for whatever reason anyone might think of! 8.0 is outrageous and a slap in the face of any paying customer! I hereby declare a strike on 8.0 for at least a year, starting right nnnnnnnow!

I dunno, I kinda like that they condensed all the jobs into just four, one for each role. Now we no longer have to worry about which job within a role does the most DPS or "preserving job identity" since there's only one to pick from. I just wish they got rid of the ranged DPS tax since melee can now attack bosses from anywhere in the room and no longer have to worry about positionals.
