The reason why it’s easier for square to take a “all kicks are valid by default” approach is because by default people are too lazy and it’s too pointless to kick for the satirical reasons you listed

If someone initiates a vote kick there is very very likely some reason for it. It may not be valid in the eyes of the person being kicked or the two other players but that’s why it defaults to “if you can get a majority it’s valid”

The amount of extra work created for the Gm’s if all kicks are assumed hostile would be massive and just lead to people not ever touching the vote kick feature like people barely talk anymore because the community sees advice as being toxic

well if someone use the system like that, then its still their choice. I assume that the most people in this game are grown up enough to not be a shi ... Person. Still it doesnt matter if you want to be that person you decide to be a dck still not worth flooding the report queue. Listen yes thats bad and all but my argument still stand like WoL against Ultima just because someone think its abuse doesn´t make it abuse. Even if we take your examples besides of for giggles this are still valid arguments. If someone runs around naked with full emperors clothes yes i would think about kicking him without feeling bad because i know what this person have in mind while wearing this. If you for whatever reason cant stand playing with an aura in you team okay kick this guy out its a stupid ahole move but its your choice if all are on it go ahead. for the job thing this actually happened once to me in stormblood when i queued as AST. From what i read in chat the tank had just astros who couldnt keep him alive okay fair move on find next dungeon.

Heres the thing the most people in this game been really fair in this game. Most will take a single target dps through the hole dungeon instead of kick him out. See where i am going ? so if you get kicked theres most of the times a reason. It doesnt matter if you personally can understand the reason or not, somebody out their do not want to play with you reason XYZ and this is their right.

For the point of SE care spoiler no they dont. They dont care if somebody was kicked just because someone was such a ahole person or if somebody is getting harassed. We had a case of harassment case in our fc from another fc. we even been sending them videos and all they told is ignore them close your house ending. The only thing they seem to care for is toxicity because they loved getting this best community. But after ShB i dont think this community deserves it but this is another issue. Callin out people is evil dont do that or get banned thats what they care about.

Back to the topic. If you get kicked out by a grp even a premade party there is up to 99% a reason for it. Aslong there is a reason beside of joke its valid and not abuse in my opinion.

I think you're misunderstanding me; I never in any way suggested that GM's should assume all kicks are hostile. I would also disagree with that.

Regardless, evidence suggests that they don't simply treat all kicks as valid, either. And I've explained why it makes sense that they've elected that route.

Um.. even if I were to unquestioningly take OP's word for everything else said, intentionally playing in group content without the chat function and thus cutting off potential attempts by party members to communicate, is a Nuisance Behavior under the ToS. So even if everything else is exactly as OP claims it is, the party isn't doing anything wrong by initiating a Vote Kick.

Also, when people say they do not want to go through the trouble of going through the report system but will write a post on the forum about it, what they really mean is "I want to get a certain response to my grievances, but I don't want anyone to actually independently review the logs of those runs".

I have been playing this game since 1.0 and have never been booted from a dungeon. I asked my friends that play and neither have they. I think there is only 1 common denominator here...

This thread feels like absolute bait but I love how it came full circle with a moderator kicking it out of technical issues and right back to general population.

If you're constantly getting kicked from duties, the common denominator is you. Look at why that is.

Edit: just had a conversation with this person in NN, they are definitely toxic as hell and don't tolerate people playing differently from how they do

Why are you running with randoms if you feel they are useless?

I can already tell from your posts why you're getting kicked. You've got a very bad attitude and are anti-cooperative when playing with others.

I would recommend making use of Duty Support when you want to run a dungeon. Then you can't be kicked for your behavior.
