No.
For one, I don't believe the Warrior of Light would "easily wipe the floor with Zarool Ja or Bakool Ja Ja. People greatly overstate how powerful the Warrior of Light actually is. We've never solo'd a Primal and the Scions are able to keep up with us in dungeons or trails. We're powerful, don't get me wrong, but to in D&D terms... We'd be somewhere between 9th and 11th level. Powerful, certainly, with world shaping-potential... But we're not Elminster levels. There's still a lot of ways to go.
For two, we're an adventurer, first and foremost, and there's still a lot of adventure to be had. We haven't seen much of Dalmasca, or even Garlemald. We've never been to Meracydia. There's still four Reflections that have yet to be visited that haven't suffered any sort of major Calamity. To paraphrase the lyrics of Moon River; we're drifters, off to see the world, and there's such a lot of world to see.
No, that has nothing to do with any of the problems surrounding the writing.
This is a silly take, we basically killed god.
The real solution to the power system is to have the WoL forsake Aether as a power source and embrace Dynamis, learning all over again because Aether is a central system while Dynamis is a universal system and we now know there can be threats outside the planet. (Granted, this is assuming that at the end of EW Meteoin didn't actually destroy all of existance outside the planet which I'm not convinced of?)
You are now saitama. One punch man, a hero for fun.
Its probably not a popular take, but I agree. We and the writers should embrace the concept of the WMD of Light more and play it off as absurd and humorous (until a story beat requires it not to be).
At least if the alternative is to de-power us, or relegate us to eternal side character status.
I don't agree with the Scions being played out. I think the issue in this MSQ is the WoL is on a "side" at all. I don't think the Scions are played out, but I do think they were not written true to their characters in DT. I would expect the twins to be on opposing teams as they love to compete against one another. I think a better story may have been the Scions as a whole approached by a leader to help guide their children and then the scions choose who they will support. They may choose based on their own objectives. As the "traveler" I don't think the WoL should take either side.
