a great way to advertise FFXIV 2.0

I think the Hobbit would be the idea movie cause it's like a high fantasy movie, just like the game. Come yoshi go hardcore on advertisement!

You have no idea how super expensive that probably is. I doubt SE will have a budget like that to advertise a dying game lol

I first heard about XI on a tv commercial. I remember how excited I got the first time I saw it. Why hasn't XIV had the same level of promotion?

marketing is supposed to kick off next month.

there is a lot of negative hype around ffxiv right now. there was a lot of advertisement rigth before it first launched.

SE traditionally has not needed to do a lot of 'mainstream' marketing. they announce something and the fan base spreads it for them. (at least in the US)

there will likely be a lot of flare and promotions in Japan though.
