I wish they leaned harder into the lion vibe with some short hair options for female Hrothgar. The shrine maidens in the Bozjan murals either didn't have hair or it was a very short or slicked-down style obscured by the art colour scheme.

They're animals, not anime.
No youre just bad at reading faces/anthropomorphizing. Also, this is your brain on Viera.
Im disappointed at the selection however after Beastren in Dragons Dogma 2.
At least the females don't have the stupid hunch the males have.
Ignoring the faces, their body being even more masculine than roes sure is funny, they wanted that ESG money.
I have good news for you OP!!! The cute feminine cat girls of your dreams are already in the game!! They are called "Miqo'te" and they look like this:

So please go play one of those and leave the female Hrothgar to me =^_^=
Nothing wrong with a bunch of big, butch Hrothgals. They are just the counter balance to the small, feminine, bunny boys.
Oh. That would explain some of the weirder gear scaling results if femezen is the base and not femroe.
For what it's worth, I really like the hrothgal vibe, the only real issue I have with them is the same as the male hroths and that's the face locked hairstyles.
I think they look fine. If anything, not beastly enough. Why are male Hroths hunched over with a much more promiment snout and why do female Hroths look like furry Femroes? If we wanna add more feminine faces fo Hrothgals, I want them to also add less "pretty doll" faces to Midlanders, catgirls and Au Ra. A big part of why I'm playing a male character is that basically all of the female characters in this game are insufferably cutesy.
If you don't like tall, somewhat buff women, that's fine. But remember, you're not the only person in the world. Personally, I love them. That's why I married a Roegadame.
