Asura in XIV Was a Disgrace to the legacy of FFIV

If you think about it, Asura could have actually worked well in a Hildibrand story (multiple faces of differing expressions: angry, sad and serene. Give them their own personality and own goals and you kinda have a three stooges situation... but in control of one body with six arms and three faces). If she were summoned earlier, we could have gotten someone who could potentially argue with herself and her battle mechanics reflecting that + changing depending on which face is currently in control (instead of being basic dungeon boss mechanics we've seen throughout EW. She doesn't do anything new or interesting).

Asura was so boring that I never want to do the fight again, lazy writing, lazy music, lazy fight design.

I couldn't tell what was going on for half the fight because the other three DPS were all summoners and I couldn't see anything.

Which does absolutely nothing for the gigantic flashbangs every time they cast a spell.

And yes, because this also comes up every time I complain about summoners, I know spell effects can be turned off, but it's only one job that causes problems.

I feel most Jobs are overly flashy now, so I just turn everything off that isn't me.

Anyway, you weren't really missing much with Asura. She's easier than the Magus Sisters.

Asura was just a gimmicky fight in FF4, really. Pretty much unbeatable unless you overlevel or realize the trick of casting Reflect on her. Whoop dee doo.
Not sure why anyone felt like she needed particularly grand representation. If anything what we have in this game is still a more interesting fight than what was in FF4.

It's more that as a Primal (or Trial in general), she has nothing unique/interesting going for her. She has three faces and six arms, but doesn't really do anything with them at all :U

I'm not fond of the Hildibrand quests but they were fine when we didn't have to interact with them. This expansion feels like whoever makes those quests got the power to force anyone who wanted a relic weapon to do them so now we all have to bathe in the stupidity.
