Would you pay for instanced housing

You mean like paying a full sub one month out of two to keep your house when the game has done no effort to give long running content over the past year?

If it was a one-and-done payment, then sure but adding to the monthly fee? Maybe if it was like a dollar.
My question would be what happens if I cancel the service? Do I loose all my items, do they return to my inventory, or is it like retainers and they just stay in cold storage till I reactivate it? (ﾟ ヘﾟ) ~?

I'm not really for it, but I would like to see the playerbase's reaction to this if it was added. More so just to see the people who constantly gatekeep housing losing their minds.
