Geomancer was already established by the lore book and AST questline as being very similar to AST and CNJ to the point where IIRC AST spell casting was able to supplement barriers made by a Geomancer and the spell animations for that NPC were the same as CNJ ones. CNJ already has elemental magic and despite those evolving into light spells, they just added a water spell to WHM.
It’s also a discipline of magic based on the other side of the world, in the Far East, and it would be awkward imo to introduce a new class that has nothing to do with the newly introduced region.
Playable GEO would mean retconning and redoing the AST quests and a complete overhaul of CNJ gameplay and quests and I don’t see them doing that just for a new job that has 20 levels.
