Less known is retainers created in 1.0 and rehired in ARR also have the Legacy Mark, although this was never apparent until Retainer Ventures were brought in and you could change your retainer's gear appearence or glamour - putting them in gear where their upper back is exposed reveals the mark, although it's quite difficult to see due to how the camera works, it's there (I only discovered this when I dressed my old 1.0 retainer in starting female hyur equipment and saw the mark when I called her at a summoning bell). -
