Stormblood MCH was my favorite to a point where it clicked 200% with me.
It had a lot of jank and flaws, but the flavor and the concept was unparalleled.

Yeah, I did. Hope you aren't expecting an apology. God forbid I make a bold claim by saying I like a thing because it had an infinitely more involved learning process and could see myself improving in it every time I played, compared to it's current state. But that's a take, I guess.
Bruh I would welcome some extra bit of damage from machinist like how black mage is stingy or give machinist a rez in the form of defibulators that would be pretty cool.
I would be ecstatic if the Defibrillator was part of the Automaton Queen build. So summoning her meant one of her attacks could instead be used to revive a fallen teammate. How cool would that be for her to zoom over to a party member and punch the ground with an electric shock to offer them a revive. Summoning Queen could be a crazy way to chain rez in a pinch.
Anything for Queen, but I'd like them for starters to align it on other pets, like SCH for example, where you can actually direct her and use some abilities tied to her deployment. This would make it less of a fire and forget button. If it had branching choices between damage or support, sure, i'll also take it.
I didn't like the ammo mechanic - having a chance to proc the next step of a 1-2-3 combo was BS, and would be even more now that we have two gauges to manage, burst windows, several GCD CD abilities, and the current Hypercharge with oGCD reduction mechanic.
...but god did I love the old Reload and Quick Reload animations. I 100% wish they used those now for the Reassemble animation...

I don't care if it's a minor potency upgrade to a spamable AOE, I adore hitting that button.

Ammo could definitely come back without the old proc system. It could just add raw potency to your next GCD but only be applicable to the standard 1-2-3 buttons. That way we get the animations and keep the fixed rotation. I would definitely welcome an increase the pace of MCH because only hypercharge feels like fast shootout.
In all honesty, MCH just ain't getting it back. The new melee we're getting, though...? I guess we'll see in a month. An ammunition-like mechanic would be nice, if only so it DOESN'T have yet another meter-based gauge.
I'm hopeful for this new job(s), but if it's primarily another '1-2-3, get meter, use spender, 1-2-3-, get meter, use spender-' job, I'm going to be pretty deflated.
Please no. Nothing could be blander. As far as I'm concerned, the fixed rotation can go to hell considering they chose to alienate all the players enjoying the old procs/ammo (while adding a new proc based rphys job at the same time to add insult to injury). But if we want to keep a fixed rotation, then at least make ammo interesting and unlock other things in the rotation. or within the combo itself, because 1-2-3 (not even branching ffs) is literally just a glorified pvp combo button.
