How many considering to even do the latest mount sweepstake?

I got me Fatter Cat mount. Also a flying bed and chair. I don't need any other mounts.

Never noticed they were doing a different reward each month. I'll definitely be joining to try and get the cloud mount and the chocolate mount!

Why would someone be using their real account? I was able to make a fake name to play this game and surely enough, I was also able to make a fake name to sign up on Twitter.

I often share pictures of my character on Twitter, here, Reddit etc, so I am fine doing this personally. I like the mount! I can see why others do not want to do it, especially since Musk took over. It was hell before, but now even Lucifer is shacking their head at the Nazi crap on there.

Maybe I just need more sleep, but I keep reading "Musk" as "Mollusk" and wondering what the hell I did to piss so many people off this time.

Or they could hold the giveaway through the Lodestone/forums. That's also something they've done in the past.

Some of those other promotions were sponsored partnerships where the other company was generally taking on responsibility for handling the majority of the giveaway and SE was simply providing the prizes. I've never gotten the impression that Twitter is sponsoring their Twitter giveaways. It's pure social media marketing.

I don't do sweepstakes since they moved away from most contests, and I no longer have a Twitter account for a number of reasons and don't want to make one just for this and then delete it after. I don't know why they moved all stuff to Twitter. Just keep it on the forums.

Entering these promotions and sweepstakes through Twitter for me has really never bothered me as most of the information required they already have on file and in their system, which of course they need in order to know who to send the prize too the right account/character. I personally already have all 4 mounts, to those who do enter Good Luck to you and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Already have all of the shown mounts. I do have a Twitter handle, but I would rather not use it. They need to choose better ways to interact with the community, especially with how bad Twitter has gotten and how little they interact with their actual forums.
