All I'm going to say is that pretty much the only thing they ban for a first offense on is RMT. If you got perma banned for anything else, it wasn't your first time.

For better or for worse, if we are taking everything you're saying at face value (you're telling us everything), the scenario seems pretty simple:
1) You automated potion crafting
2) Someone noticed you, and noticed you doing it hours(?) later still crafting.
3) Suspecting automation, they reported
4) A GM popped in and said "hey you there?"
5) Getting no response, and being able to observe you and your very precise keystrokes (they can get timestamps of when your character issues commands; it is unnatural for key inputs to repeat perfectly without variation), they have to assume automation.
6) Clearly in violation, you received a ban.

Remember, SE does have the right to terminate service with you, for any reason, including no reason at all. While uncharacteristic of them to ban on first offense, there's really no rule stating they aren't allowed to.
I have checked my gmail, all notification were Mog station payments(oh......I paid a lot of money). So I don't know why they gave me perma ban. That's why I thought it was very harsh.
Do not use bot software ala gil farm bots, bard player bots or crafting bots. Because if you get caught then you can say "hasta la vista" to your account. And seriously, i do not believe, that using mouse macro software was the reason for this ban. I guess, the thread starter has used other botting software. Or SQEX has an better bot software detection now.
Cheers
I don't think they read forums, but if they did wouldn't your post be pretty self incriminating? It's an admission of breaking the rules, and essentially saying you're hoping to be unbanned so you can keep doing what you were doing but not get caught the next time?
Does this mean the gm can investigate the same instance multiple times and have it count as separate strikes?Quote:
A Game Master (GM) may speak to players to investigate and confirm "absentee" play, and if the player continues with this behavior, contrary to the GM's instructions, they will be treated as participating in "absentee" play and subject to penalties
I only use mouse macros actually. I am proud of clearing any ultimate without 3rd-part apps. That's why I kept asking supprot center what "PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES" I did. Because I didn't use any 3rd-part apps in game, then, I cannot figure out what PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES will make me to get perma ban.
